I've watched alot of brody on podcasts,,he had a naturally funny presence but I wonder if he thought inside he wasn't taken seriously. It's exhausting having to constantly explain your existence like he did . Having mental heath issues myself I can relate .brody was a rare gem .

He had some serious depression. He always thought he was inferior. You noticed he always had to reaffirm to himself he was positive. After he was gone, you realize why he was doing that. Go watch "enjoy it", itll show how depressed Brody truly was. Its sad man. Everyone loved Brody

Makes me wonder about him sometimes. I’ve listened to a lot of the Opie and Anthony archives, and noticed MANY similarities between Jim Norton and Joey. If Joey started telling these stories around 2010, and with his admitted marijuana abuse, I tend to think he listened to O and A back in the day for inspiration

well he does change a lot, A LOT of details about his stories. EXAMPLE. Joey tells the Ken From Kentucy story 2 different versions (ill assume you heard it so) 1. he says he invited Ken for dinner (being a good catholic and all) and smoke him up 5 days a week one the hour. then Ken said he got 1000 from his Mother, and was going out for a steak, Joey said what about us, Ken refused - Joey robbed him. 2. Joey says Ken asked to stay for dinner, and asked to smoke his weed, 5 days a week. Ken gets money from his Dad, (also refuses to give any to Joey) goes skiing ..Joey robs him. Point is, Joey's stories are all exagerated and some DID NOT EVEN happen to him - some he's just repeating of others - and saying it was him (I have told stories with false details many times - bec i know they won't fact check)

@@Stacey_-bf2mb makes me wonder too, but you should know I love Joey, yet he lies like a rug. His stories lately have been like 70 bull 30 truth, some stories are way to convenient and cliche to be true - how he fucked with coke for 30 years and didn't get massive jail time is beyond all of us.

What's your history fella? Where you finding these? It's either you recorded them at the time or you were somehow a part of this through someone. I could care less either way. They're great. Listening to these guys years before they were 'really' famous/popular. In episode 3 Bill Burr is embarrassed by Joey begging him up at the beginning of his career. It's refreshing. Cheers mate.
