Man, you're living in a different world up there! It's crazy to think lakes freeze deep enough to drive a truck across them pulling a fish house. I always enjoy your content, and it was neat seeing some of your old fishing pictures. Maybe, you can do a video one day catching some fish from the fishing/ice shack.

Thank you... again! I sure appreciate your continued support of my channel!! We actually have some videos on KZfaq of ice fishing in the shack. My boy has a fishing channel "Moravitz Fishing" but most videos are from a number of years ago. He kind of lost interest in making videos, but may start uploading new ones again. Thanks! Yes, there's spray foam under the floor as well.

How thick does the ice have to be to support the weight?

I've taken it out on 8 ", pulling it with the ATV and 9" with a truck, but I knew the lake froze consistently and that the ice was uniform and solid those years. Normally though, I wait until there's about a foot.
