In this video, I show you how I installed an ICECO VL60D mini fridge and slide mount on my Jeep Gladiator overland camping setup. Installing the slide allows for easy access to the fridge and frees up a lot of otherwise unused space. After the install, I share a few thoughts I've developed over one-year on how the fridge has performed during my adventures.

A lot of people don’t like it, but I love ice cold San Pellegrino sparkling water in the summer. It’s refreshing.

I mounted my fridge on top of my decked system a couple of years ago. You might want to look into a tilting fridge slide. I have the one from DFG Off-Road for for my Dometic for a couple of years. The few problems I had was fixed by their custom service in a timely manner.

Did you have any issues with the deck ripping through? It feels solid, but I plan to be careful with it.

@OffGridAdventure I didn't have a problem at all. But I did use wide washers under the decked and moved the slide to the very edge of the top "cover".

So, it gives a layer of space in the drawer where I’m putting most of my camp kitchen gear. It’s a lot of space, but also not enough compared to my previous minivan camper setup. I need to trim down my expectations.
