It's a Moka pot. Different to a percolator because it doesn't recirculate brewed coffee back through the grounds, and the brewed coffee is kept in the top part away from the heat so it doesn't burn. Much better than a percolator.

Saturday Kitchen is most enjoyable and the signature charisma Ainsley always exhibits even more so. While Michel Roux Jr and my fellow Aussie, John Torode are my favourite to host with Donal Skehan a superb second, Ainsley was my first choice straight off the bat. Rick Stein has an establishment in Australia and Ainsley would take to the place because like the West Indies it is paradise for anyone who loves the sun and the sea. I would certainly eat at any place Ainsley ran because I admire his culinary use of spices; this is probably his most simple recipe and would undoubtedly be a superb accompaniment to his ricotta pancakes. Thank you kindly for the post.

Not seen one of those tin openers in a while.looks like a nice dessert, i thought it was going to be a drink. Think you need to get Ainsley back in BBC, talented and entertaining chef, could you run the videos a bit longer please so we can see what the dishes look like just before they are eaten, Thank you.
