Күн бұрынAmerican professional eaters Randy Santel and Katina Eats Kilos plus Icelandic strongman friend "The Mountain" Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson each versus 2Guys' 2.5kg Icelandic 6 Burger Tower Challenge hosted by 2Guys in Reykjavik, Iceland! My girlfriend @KatinaEatsKilos and I left on a multi-month European summer food challenge tour and our first stop was Reykjavik, Iceland so that we could celebrate Katina's 32nd birthday and each attempt 2 huge and delicious Icelandic eating challenges around the greater Reykjavik metro area. For final Iceland competitive eating challenge #2, we headed to 2Guys in downtown Reykjavik to attempt and help kick off 2Guys' new 2.5kg Icelandic 6 Burger Tower Challenge along with our "2018 World's Strongest Man" Icelandic strongman friend @Hafthorjulius who is well known for his role as "The Mountain" in Game of Thrones. We each had just 45 minutes to finish SIX different gourmet cheeseburgers from 2Guys' menu, including one secret menu item not available on the menu. The burgers all totaled up to weigh around 2kg total, or 4.4lbs, and they were served with ~500g of "Dirty Fries" loaded with a cheese sauce plus bacon bits. We were each trying to win our ~$90 USD Icelandic cheeseburger meals free plus sweet t-shirts and spots on 2Guys' Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Hjalti the owner and everyone with 2Guys in downtown Reykjavik, Iceland for the wonderful food, drinks, beers, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to all our amazing friends who came up that Tuesday afternoon to watch and meet us!! When Thor was training for strongman, he would routinely eat 10k calories daily. He was over 450lbs at one point. The dude can eat.

@@codyschnuriger6743 Yeah I'm an Eddie Hall fan but Eddie, Larry Wheels and Thor did a giant sushi challenge. Like the wheel itself was enormous and 5 pieces. Thor got 4 down. Eddie and Larry might have pulled off half the challenge. Eddie is half a foot shorter than Thor and damn near killed himself to win WSM in 2017 at 431 pounds and immediately retired. I'm honestly not a Thor fan because of how he would act like he was cheated every year. That Viking Press he had like 7 reps that should not have counted because he double dipped and they still gave him 4 of those bad reps. Eddie had flawless technique the rep count for Thor wouldn't have mattered. Eddie won the previous event so he got to go last. He would've just kept going but he knew a very specific number was all he needed to win. I've been watching it since the 1990's and Thor always had 20 yes men with him and he pretty much always made the podium and he cried that he was cheated every single year until he finally won, obviously. I cannot stand that level of unprofessionalism that he always brought to WSM. If he did not win the event he was cheated just completely unable to admit that Shaw or Eddie or Savickas were simply better. No matter the event.

I discovered Randy through Katina. There was this beautiful woman sitting behind 10 hamburgers, and that was my first ever eating challenge video. I was hooked. What a charming and likable person she is. I never dreamed I would be so interested in something that seemed so odd as food challenges! Then along came Randy, and I grew to love him as much as Katina. ❤ Thank you both for sharing your unusual abilities with us. Happy holidays. I love you.

I love watching people eat, but I have to say, my absolute favorite thing about watching eating competitions is watching the person who won support the people competing with them. They really make it feel like winning is just a nice bonus, and doing your best is the both the goal, and something truly worthy of praise. It's so lovely. Unbelievable the Mountain got defeated! But he hasn’t trained his stomach to handle all that food so it’s not a big surprise. But he ate way more than I thought he would! Way to go, Thor!!! Loved him in Game of Thrones, he just radiated strength and power.
