I love your videos, they make me miss Japan. Tip for visitors, the Ueno Station Ichiran is small and I never had to wait to eat.

Really?? Nowadays, Ichiran in Ueno is one of the busiest one.... we have to wait 20 to 30 mins😭

Ate at Ichiran back in 2016, loved it. A little pricey though. Also at other individual ramen stores. Wishe I knew about jiro style ramen back then.

I know!! It's slightly more expensive than other ramen shops💦💦 Jiro style is really good but I can't film inside so I have to be more famous to get permission over there👍👍

Great vodeo as always showing the pros and cons of the place. Can you explain what the difference on the ordering menu the Dashi and Richness levels? Is one more seasoning and one more oil?

Hi. Thank you for the great video. I have a question though: when you're finished with your ramen, do you just get up from your seat and leave or do you have to ring the button and tell the staff that you're leaving ?

yes!! We don't need to do anything! Just leave everything you had on the table and you can leave the seat! A shop staff will tidy up everything👍 You don't even need to say good bye😂

I very much enjoy the taste of the tonkotsu ramen served at Ichiran. But I prefer to have a little bit of human interaction, like at Ippudo or individual ramen shops.

@@foodinjapan2256 When I go to Japan, I am travelling with a friend, so I am fine. And I think that you get also enough communication with other people. It just sometimes feels sad, when I see people in places like that, and I think that they might have very little communication with other people. I think that many people are very lonely in Japan.

@@swissfoodie3542 I'm not too sure about others but in these days, some people prefer to be alone. they don't think they are lonely. it's free to do anything and decide everything by themselves. This is current situation in Japan😅
