I'm 52 and today I attended my first Latin Tridentine Mass and I fell in love with It. Later I had to go to the Novus Ordo Mass in order to take my daughter as she couldn't come with me to the LTM and I immediately felt the HUGE difference! Thank you sooo much to everyone that supports the formation of these young men! May Jesus and Mary bless you abundantly!

As someone currently discerning whether to join the FSSP, I am delighted. It really seems like a good life at that seminary in Gricigliano, and I am grateful for the good priests of the ICKSP. Father Deacon is a very charismatic man, we need more good priests who have a way with people!

The Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit, if many churches are correct. If many churches are correct, The Trinity is a Family-- two Parents and a Progeny, just like a human family.(Humans are created in the "image" and "likeness" of God according to Genesis 1:26) In the book of Job, which is part of the Bible, the Lord is compared to a father and also a mother with a womb "From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens?"-Job 38:29. Because God can also be thought of like a mother (Isaiah 42:14, Isaiah 66:13, Matthew 23:37), all three roles (father,mother,progeny) in a basic human family are filled in the Trinity. Saying the Father and the Son are Parents of the Holy Spirit is simply another way of saying "the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son" which has been official Catholic doctrine for centuries. The Church teaches that the Son is begotten from the Father. If this is true, the Father is the Father (Parent)of the Son. The Church teaches that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. If this is true, the Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit. Of course, the scriptures are vague if the Holy Spirit is the 3rd or 2nd Person of the Trinity, whichever of these is true, the 1st and the 2nd may be the Parents of the 3rd.

@@chicagoman393 sorta, but I'd turn away from that point because an Orthodox would correctly point out that denotes a hierarchy within God, when the Father and Son generated Holy Ghost. But the Holy Spirit is God, consubstantial with the Father and the Son, who is equal with them, but not either of them, but all are God. The Athansaus Creed I think will break it down best for you, made a lot of sense to me when I recited it

Hi brothers, it's very inspiring to see you practicing the rich tradition of the Church which is not really a common practice in some of our seminaries in the Philippines. It's my 8th year of formation how and preparing myself for the novitiate. I didn't experience praying the office in Latin chanting in Gregorian chant. But seeing you doing it, it ignites my soul to be in communion with you. I pray for you brothers. I remember your community in my prayers. Lets keep this holy vocation for the greater glory of the Lord. God bless. I just wonder if are there Filipinos in your community... I hope one day I can visit your community.
