Hello all, thanks for stopping by. I went ahead and bit the bullet. I bought an Icybreeze Cooler AC. I didn't know if it was going to be mediocre or if it somewhat worked just enough to not be able to return this "COOLER"...
I bought it just so it would be comfortable in a tent during summer camping mainly at night. There's one thing I hate and its being hot at night trying to go to sleep. Spoiler Alert!! This thing did not disappoint!!

I have the same Jackery unit as you. I'm thinking about running this right off the Jackery with out using their on board battery.

This is a great, practical product. One thing people will complain about is how quickly it melts the ice, which is true. BUT, one way to extend the life of the ice is to use blocks of ice, which you could make at home by freezing water in containers like tupperware, or other large storage container. Use some big blocks, and fill in the rest with bagged ice.

On the jackery 500 that. Yeah, you are using how many Watts does it pull? When you have a turn on the low setting or high setting??

21 if I think I remember right, but the fridge shuts off when it reaches the computed temperature. Then starts up again when it needs to the reach the desired temp.

I recently bought one, and they were offering a free 10AH battery with the IcyBreeze. I wanted one, and was ready to pay the $100 for the battery. When I realized I could get the battery for free, I went ahead and made the purchase. I was wondering how long the offer would last before it went away, and supposedly today is the last day of the offer.

It all depends on the setting. In high - only a few hours.

Great video. But I have one important question. When the charger is completely full/charged, What color is it? Is it a solid red because I've been charging my battery for 10 hours and it's still a solid red. I've heard people say it should be green if that's the case after 10 hours, I'm not sure why it is not green. So again. My question is when it is fully charged what color is the indicator supposed to be? Thanks

I will have to look again because I haven’t used it in a while. I would think after 10 hours it would be fully charged.

@ninjatarot I actually found out the answer to my question. I contacted Icy breeze & it turns out that for whatever reason with the new 2024 models like I have; the batteries DO NOT turn green anymore to indicate a full charge EVEN THOUGH it still says that it does in the instructions; they said that this was an oversight from the company that manufactures the batteries and chargers, so NOW a solid red light indicates a full charge which could be a little confusing, because the light by default is red and while it's charging, It's a blinking red light and when it stops blinking it becomes a solid red light to indicate a full charge. What made me think that I had a defective battery is the fact that the instructions still communicated that it should be a solid Green red light to indicate a full charge plus every video review thst I watched said it should be green but now I understand that it's working perfectly. Icy breeze really should at this point, update there instruction manual.
