Great idea from ID Cooling to design the cooler so that it can hang above the IO/Aluminum cooling, most of the modern mini ITX boards have the whole IO area used as cooler for the phases, which I mean is great, the only problem is how much it limits use of small form factor coolers. Only problem I see with this cooler is the base. It looks same as the ID Cooling IS-55 that I used for the past 1/2 year. The copper base has poor polish, there are big circles on it with big gaps, after 2months of use on my undervolted 13600k most of the thermal paste gets pushed from the center and because of that core 3 on the CPU constantly hits 100C. After repaste the core 3 goes down to ~85C when hitting it with load. Wish ID Cooling would polish the base more like Thermal Right does or even like the ID Cooling IS-60 has.

My ID-Cooling IS-60 Evo is performing well after 5 months of use on my undervolted i7 9700k that pulls 130W on full load. I hope the poor polish you got on your IS-67-XT is just a bad batch, I have high hopes for this cooler because the heatsink fins can be orientated parallel to the RAM modules (the direction of airflow for most ITX sandwich cases) but unlike the AXP120-X67 the heatsink will not cover the mainboard screw holes or 8 pin power connector on an ITX board so it looks much easier to work with than the Thermalright.

I've also used some of the existing ID-COOLING IS-xx series, and I'm not very satisfied with the CPU coolers I've used. However, the relatively recent IS-xx-XT series seems to have improved significantly in areas that have been pointed out as shortcomings of existing products.

Seems to me it wouldn't be a big deal to polish that base a little further. Your issue surprises me. Pumping out because of poor polish ? I have got no problem with my IS-50X.

Just installed one myself and OH BOY I was scared when saw that silicon pack under the heatsink. Because I haven't seen one in my box... Fortunately, when I checked I found it under the spongy thing in the box, but this is one silent killer

Nice video showing the fit, especially good to see they included longer screws for a 25mm fan on the cooler. My question - is there enough clearance for a standard 25mm rear exhaust fan or would you need to go with a 90mm?

The rear exhaust fan can be selected in the desired size as the CPU cooler heat sink can be installed 180 degrees.

The noise difference between the stock fan and any noctua fan will be noticed immediately. also with the noctua fan the score was 1000 points higher. I agree with you that it is quite an achievement that the stock fan matches the noctua a12 performance.

How does the IS67XT compare to the Deepcool AN600? I have 95mm of clearance in my case and was thinking of getting one of the two options and putting a PhanteksT30 high performance fan on. Which one do you recommend/think is better? Thanks!

I personally prefer the black heat sink, and I was satisfied with the IS67XT side in detail and finish. I felt the cooling performance was similar, but the IS67XT was cheaper at the time of purchase.

Hi, really like your videos. What motherboard are you using in this video? I really want to buy this cooler but I'm not sure if my RAM will fit so I will probably want to install over the IO area like you did. This is a big request, but can you please measure the RAM clearance when installed over the RAM? Thank you.

Currently, I only have an AM5 socket ITX motherboard, so I can't test it with the motherboard I used in the review video. To tell you the B650E-ISTRIX standard that uses AM5 sockets, if the heat sink is installed in the RAM direction, the RAM height seems to be possible up to 41-42mm.

Have you tested IS-55 with 12700k? About to swap to a S300 case that cooler height limit is 60mm so I had no other choice.

Maybe I misreading the graphs wrong but it looks like the 25mm Noctua fan performed about the same as the stock 15mm fan?

I also felt strange that it didn't make much difference and tested it a few more times, but the results were the same. However, Noctua's cooling fan operating noise was more comfortable to listen to than bundle fans.

Seems to me the bottleneck of the system isn't the fan (I also replaced the 15mm fan of my IS-50X with a 25mm one, I never tried the 15mm). But that test is made under optimal conditions on an open bench, maybe the 25mm fan would make a difference inside a case.

I'm in doubt between this cooler with a phanteks t30 fan or a thermalright Tr-sl-100 with a 120mm slim fan for the nzxt h1, I don't know which is better, smaller heatsink with bigger fan or bigger heatsink with smaller fan.

I think proper balance is important. The SI-100 is a fairly high-performance LP CPU cooler. However, this is the case when the 25T cooling fan is installed. The 15T cooling fan may produce completely different results when installed. I think I'd use a 67mm cooler and a 25T to 30T cooling pan combination.

RHCP FPVantenna. It is used for simplicity rather than performance reasons.

If the direction of the cooling fan is reversed, the cooling capacity of the CPU cooler will be greatly reduced because there is no space to attract cold air rather than turbulence.

If the side panel of the PC case is close to the cooling fan, as you said, installing the cooling fan upside down will be effective in suppressing wind noise.@@Amaan_OW

Even if it's the same CPU, they all have different silicon lottery tickets. You need to find the best undervoltageing value that is applicable to your CPU.

Different CPUs have different potentials, so you have to find values that work without problems. I usually apply it from -0.05v and proceed with the load test.

Most Z chipset ITX motherboards that use the LGA1700 socket have a Dr.MOS VRM configuration with a capacity of 1050A. The motherboard that I was most satisfied with was MSI's Z690I Unify motherboard.

The 7500F will require a larger heat sink and a significantly lower PPT setting if it aims to cool with a CPU cooler that has stopped the cooling fan.

im planning to get a new 7.5l case with only 70mm cooler clearance (i will still use my old 5800X3D). based on this test alone, the results also seems great compared to NH-L12S or AXP120-X67. do you have any other recommendation for me? if you dont, which one of the 3 should i get for my system?

NH-L12 G.E. has been tested, and I have a test video on my channel. There is nothing noticeable about the performance, but the cooling fan is located below, so it has the advantage of being free from wind noise when mounting on the SFF case.@@corza666
