Ida has got the effortless flow, very few players have it.

Ida understands musicianship, and after working with Prince, best believe she’s tight as hell & in the pocket. It’s apparent that she listens twice as much as she plays and also works her ass off to do what a bass player does best, making the rest of the band sound amazing.

I am pretty sure Ida was interested in Remco's 'lobster claw' technique. I was too, its unlike any technique I have seen. Both incredible bass players.

I like the way Ida just lays it down....funk all that other stuff. Just say something we can all understand.

Hallo Karoslif! Sorry but I have to correct you. I am with this female bass player and we hate jam sessions but I have to tell you that Ida Nielson was involved in the best jam session I have ever seen - active: Prince (.): first bass Ida Nielsen: second bass John Blackwell jr. (.): Drums & Cymbals This took place in Antwerp europe attendance: 14.391 Capacity: 15.719 Date: 10/08/2010 You can find that on youtube - "Forever in my bass" Look and listen and stop talking nonsense! Purple Love Assistant P.S.: John Blackwell was so caught by the interact between Ida and Prince that he could not resist to go on playing. That's what I call being free at playing.
