Get rid of that piece of shit Himalayan and use the ADV 390 more. I am surprised it even ran for 50000 km without issues, much lesser than the 1.3L I am made to believe that my friends told me. The 411 is a piece of shit in high altitudes due to its weight and lesser power and is unreliable AF, and a poor handler until the rear is set for preload, which is another painful procedure. I sold mine after 40000 km due to tappet noise and instrument vibrations and am happy with the 390 for 30000 km without issues, what you faced was an improper run in compliance incident. This 373 cc engine can run upto 1.5L km easily just with regular maintenance if run in is done correctly. My other bike is a VStrom 1000 which has done 80000 km without a hitch. Regarding the rear Rally suspension, you are right. The screw is the only addition that makes it comparitively easier. Look at the top, you will see a wavy pattern which can be adjusted using the C spanner provided in the tool kit. It has 10 levels of adjust and keeping it at 2 is the way to go.
