Hello Satish , I'm a owner of Himalayan too ,the hard gear shifts are very common in ROYAL ENFIELD due to its big BORE and heavy over head camshaft engines .. once it's serviced and new engine oil is added it again becomes smoother, it becomes hard over the period of time, The best interval of SERVICE FOR HIMALAYAN IS 3000 KM this is from an experienced rider , since there isn't any appropriate cooling for the vehicle it becomes difficult to manage the oil for over 5000 km .. And reduce the use of pressure washer since it damages the cluster and your ecu too

Avoid off roading for the first 5k kms, just to get a very good engine stability, post which the life of the engine depends on the maintenance, hard shift of gear is common, diesel was is done to maintain chrome, without modification on silencer the mileage will be good, avoid hard acceleration.
