After seeing this i realized how poor i am compare to 1960 people's Btw the first dishwasher (that in the sink) is really neat, i wish someone remake it

They were right though predicting that most women would prefer the front-loading dishwasher. Though I think that multipurpose sink-dishwasher was a good idea too.

And yet three of the four houses in which I spent the most time in my years in England in the 1990s had no dishwasher.

We only had dishwashers on 2 legs. Our tasks assigned, mother or father did the washing, I did the drying.

Total waste of money. Washing the dishes after a meal was just done with quibble in our house - still is 😊

"...and this, Your Royal Highness, is one of the latest kitchens." "How charming." [Thinks: I wonder what it's used for?] The best part of these shows was the section where they demonstrated all the small gadgets. You always found that little item that was a must-have for the kitchen, which would end up at the back of a drawer. A sort of Lakeland on steroids!

Now you can buy all that furniture in a thrift store for $5.- ..i must say my favorite gadget was the in sink dish washer/multi tool , far out!😅
