Does the world not teach respect to its children so they don’t overstep themselves in another country, or even THEIR OWN? And I don’t live in England, but I have more respect than citizens of England have…and they have NO shame about their behavior. I have no words😢

This is the result of lack of consistency amongst the guards. That guard should have immediately pulled the horse away from that disrespectful man! Clearly, older does not mean wiser!!

@@brendaswann7292 I never suggested otherwise. It has nothing to do with whether or not he knows his horse, and everything to do with taking care of the horse, so that it doesn't get roughly manhandled by tourists. If he were more aware of the situation, that man would never have grabbed the horse by its bridle, which can be painful for the horse. That in no way makes the guard a bad person. He just needs to be a bit more observant is all.

In the Guard's defense, it was nearly impossible for him to see or feel input from the reins. People could see what he was doing. Why didn't they say something if they value pictures with a Guard Horse so much? Double standard, yes, no, maybe?

Was ist bloß so lustig daran, vom Pferd gezwickt, an den Jacken gezogen und gebissen zu werden. Ich verstehe es nicht. Das Pferd zeigt doch deutlich seine Abneigung. Mehr Respekt wäre angebracht.

I know! I totally agree with you. If the higher ups in charge are not going to do something, someone should. If these horses had hands they would be smacking people constantly. I’ve noticed more and more of the horses stressing out and leaving the box. THEY JUST DO NOT GET IT, of course they don’t want to stay, they know what’s in store for them. These are highly intelligent animals and it’s not fair to push these tourists on them. And now their only voices they had to help them have been silenced.

What is wrong with some of these guards? This one obviously doesn’t give a toss about his horse. He should not have allowed that old bloke to grab that poor horse’s head like that. He isn’t the first guard I’ve seen to totally ignore the plight of their horse. These ones don’t deserve to be on horseback at all.

Abdullah SAY SOMETHING when that happens, or get the guards attention. That grabbing of the bridle under the horses head, was like grabbing the steering wheel from the passenger side. What the hell was going on in this guards mind? He's supposed to be surveying EVERYTHING, not sitting there like a dolt. Unbelievable !!! Guaranteed, if this was a Blues & Royals guard, he would have shouted, he and the horse would have charged that guy.

Why is the guard not telling this people to get if the reins and holding the bridle so horse can't open his mouth the people are getting away with this all the time

I guess the guard would just let the man walk off with the horse because he's not man enough to stop somebody from disrespecting him and the horse. SMH! What's wrong with the guards who just sit there like slugs and let tourists do whatever they want to the horse? They're suppose to protect the horse. The Lifeguards are really bad about it! It's laziness! I wouldn't want them having my back in a bad situation.

Wearing sunglasses while attempting a photo with the King's Horse Guards is a lost cause. Horses depend on eye to eye contact as one way to ensure their sense of safety. Sunglasses 🕶 mean oh oh may be predator. They will react accordingly.
