What a brat. Then Dad goes and does it too just to antagonize. THEN Mom does it too, I think for a photo op. Then Mom says 'sorry, just trying to pet' and asks for a photo with the police! Then junior goes to the 2nd horse guard and grabs the reins again. Then little jr. and junior and Dad go for a photo but get distracted by the horse police. Horrible entitled family, did this on purpose for the photos. No respect.

They can’t have boundaries or tape or fences around the horses as that would be really dangerous for the horses. The horse and officer need access and plenty of space so they can manoeuvre around. After 9/11 there was discussion to have a line painted on the ground to instruct visitors how close they could get as a way to keep people back …I can’t find info as to why that wasn’t done but I do remember something about how the Queen didn’t like the idea of a line painted on the ground.

Starting @3:20 till just before the end.First the son tried to get the reins, then the father, and then the mother tried to get the reins. She got yelled at and then they moved over to the other horse. They were specifically reported and a police officer spoke to the family. Immediately after, the son went over to the horse and petted him nicely, then grabbed the reins. Dad and 2 sons posed for an appropriate pic near horse, then went to courtyard.

You don’t touch the horse’s reigns because you aren’t on the horse’s back. The person who has authority over the horse is the person who is on his back. That would be the soldiers not a random person on the street. The sign clearly states NOT TO TOUCH THE REIGNS.

In The US we would not tolerate treatment of soldiers like that, if that were the US everybody in the crowd would be all over that kid and his parents, but no kid here would do , it we may have our issues, but we respect our servicemen always. To the soldiers-thank you for your service. I know that there are people coming from other countries and you don’t wanna be rude but to me that goes out the window because they’re being rude, but that kid sounded like he had a British accent, which makes it even worse.

@@yodadf Over here they are known for doing dodgy driveways and roofing jobs, as well as Artifice (distraction) burglaries of the elderly. My friend's mum in Ireland felt sorry for them and let them use her pub for a wedding... She'd never do that again!

@@MelanaC I have seen some people feed something to the horses. Who knows what could be in it that would harm the horse? There are lots of unhinged people showing up at the horse guards and it's well documented.

There’s something not right with the reins or mouth bite possibly because the horse is drooling and his tongue is hanging out. I’ve never seen that before on any of these horses. Just an observation. And yes there are some extremely rude uncivilised tourists!

I love watching the Guards & the horses perform their duties. I just can’t stand watching these rude tourists. All the more reason the tourists should not be allowed anywhere near them at all!

This is the third video I seen them in. They get warned by the guards and police and all they do is laugh. Can't they they get fined for not following the rules? I wish they would.
