Oonada: Yeah they are totally unconcerned until they have to deal with the aftermath; the police, insurance companies, auto repair, traffic court. All of that would have been unnecessary had they just made sure the lane was clear. But our roads are full of preoccupied dumb-asses.

I was in the exact position in a busy intersection with multiple lanes. Was bobtailing but I know if I move forward, I’ll be blocking the intersection and the drivers turning left. But that don’t stop multiple cars going around me and taking the necessary space I needed 😐

That's exactly how gird locks start.

The worst thing about this is, that if YOU aren't blocking it, someone else is going to pass you and take your spot. This happened twice two me in a matter of minutes once. There was a lot of traffic by an intersection and I was waiting for my turn to go until the intersection was clear. But people in the lane next to me just passed me and switched to my lane so I had to wait even longer. When I honked at them they were waving their hands at me pretending like they didn't do anything wrong. This is why driving defensively and correct is punishing.

Yeah, the most important thing is that you do this in the first line for paramedics or the police. All others can wait for stupid drivers but not the guys who saves other guys lives.

That's exactly why we have yellow crossed grid markings on the road here in the UK. You only enter it if your exit is clear, or if oncoming traffic prevents you from turning right. To prevent desperate drivers blocking the junction

You are applying the same rules for all types of roundabouts and you just can't do that. Two lanes roundabouts do reserve the outside lane for the exit IF the exit is a single crriageway, but that was not, it was dual carriageway (dual lane exit). Below is an explanation. Nah, the cammer wasn't wrong. Coming from the UK, notorious for roundabouts, when exiting onto a dual carriageway, doesn't matter the lane and in that situation, the guy on the right was turning left into a lane he shouldn't have, the cammer was in the right and could go straight on, same in the Uk except in the UK the guy on the left would be going round to the right rather than straight on. The cammer would be on the right going straight onto the dual acrriageway which is correct. The cammer was not at fault at all. IF you think the cammer was then your awareness on roundabouts needs some reviewing so you do not cause an accident and find out the hard way. The driver on the right trying to turn left on the round about was in the wrong as they would be cutting up traffic and causing a potential accident. Draw it out is best to then see the layout and work out, that if you are in the states on a round about, how can a driver on the right keep turning left into the traffic on the left whop has a right to go straight on when it is a dual carriageway exit? Not all roundabouts follow the same principal. If exiting to a single carriageway then maybe, but the exit was dual lane and so was the round about so BOTH lanes could go straight, depends on road markings. Usually though, going roung that extra exit usually means to move outwards to the next lane to exit. A lot of Americans driving in the UK find themselves stuck on roundabouts till they work it out. They really are not hard and one of the easiest things to navigate on the roads. Most people make "mountains out of mole hills" when it comes to these. You should see some roundabouts in the UK, roundabouts within roundabouts within roundabouts. The inner and outer lanes went onto a dual carriageway for a reason, so both lanes can exit which also reduces traffic build up. Those of us who are familiar with roundabouts, know this all too well. Some round about, the outside lane, the left lane can ONLY turn left, sometimes straight on also, same with the right which can go straight but also right, or might only be right, or a three or four lane round about. Depends. Sometimes you will have single lane roundabouts that lead onto dual carriageways.

I usually see it as right lane for right and straight, and left lane for left, straight, or U-turn.

Yeah, pausing at 1:33 you can see the arrows pretty clearly show left lane is left turn only, right lane is left/straight. Even if those arrows only apply going forward, odds are left lane is left turn only at the time of the impact. Cammer is the idiot no matter what turn signals they were using.

Alright, y'all, I found this roundabout. It's in Ontario, and it looks even more complicated than your typical roundabout. At the point where the video takes place, both lanes can go straight, but only the left lane can continue around. The arrows on the ground are for the next section, because the exit after this is only one lane. Only the right lane can take it, the left lane has to continue around. Cammer is correct here.

If the roundabout is tight then the back driver side tires of the bus are always gonna go on the roundabout. That's why the curb has an edge.

@@Decay611 it is not very tight, and she does not even make an attempt to go around it. front and back wheels go over, with no attempt to prevent it. its to the point where were driving on the little circle of grass in the center and the bus is tilted because of it
