Ok. Wo w . This is so good and I’m breaking down! The idea of them seeing and missing each other but forgetting who they were... ouch. Richie seeing Eddie as he’s being escorted somewhere hurts SO MUCH because if he wasn’t chained to his career he could chase him but he’s pulled away :(((( and Eddie’s parts got me the most beautiful especially because of that transition fade from his coffee cup to him laying flowers on his mom’s grave and taking pills and then marrying Myra... HELLO??? IM IN PAIN???? and the side by side bed panel came for my THROAT. Them both waking up at the same time but halfway across the country.... at different times.... g o d.... and the flashback scenes are so GOOD and so nostalgic UGH what hits the hardest is Richie dreamed up the memory of him crying at the kissing bridge and hitting his head and that’s when he wakes up... I'm literally crying so hard over this?? I've rewatched it a few times now because I can't really stop thinking about it. The art is beautiful and the song choice hurt me a lot. I really love this animatic and it went straight into my crying playlist as soon as I finished watching it the first time. All of the Losers deserved so much better, but these two (and Stan) especially should have gotten their happy ending.
