Once when i prepared the batter, the batter turned out to be somewhat thin consistency after fermenting. I added ragi flour to make it thicker and steam it. It turned out well with with brown color idli.

Hello Nisha ji. I tried your Idli batter yesterday and let me tell you my 10 month old loved it. This was the first time I tried making Idling batter at home and after following your instructions ( forgot to add Methi), the Idli turned out to be super fluffy and tasty. Hi Nisha ji...i made this batter but yesterday after following ur process...after keeping full day n night it didnt double up the quantity but i saw a layer of fermentation on top....here the weather is summer but my home is not that much hot...so should i keep it for more hours???now i covered it with blanket n kept near fan heater...is it good to do this way???plss reply.Thank u so much.
