It is rather hilarious, but mildly believable in a historical drama like this! She's rather known for being uneducated in every way even though her family is based in military accomplishments, and she's a teen at this point of the story. The man they've followed into battle for years and have shared every up and down with has a stupid teen wife trying to sneak in to share his troubles... Yeah, every one of them will become some level of wingman.

The Black Armored Guards (BAG) is very loyal to General Ling Buyi, whom they refer to as their Young Master, so it is not difficult gor them to invest their efforts on his private life, especially anything related to Shaoshang whom they fondly refer to as Young Madsm.

@@IciziaFaeI think since the guards have been around there general for so long they know his feelings and he was very interested in xiao xiao from the beginning and they knew that. You had the serious guard and then the goofy one who just rambled on without realizing what he had said.

@@gemini8966 I have a question about that, too. Young Master would be as the son of Marquis Li, right? Are these household troops, or general troops under his personal command? I can't think of a general troop that would call him Young Master rather than by his military rank, General. So, if they are from the Li family, why are they loyal to him after the big reveal?

@@athenastewart9167 A'Qi and A'Fei are members of the Black Armored Guards, (BAG) not the Li family guard. Both of them are his most trusted deputies. However, their loyalty to Ling Buyi, as well as all of BAG is beyond the call of duty. That is why they are a bit more personal in calling him the young master out of real fondness for him. They were willing to sacrifice losing their ranks and lives for him; he doesn't want them involved, but they won't back down.
