Definitely do not skip ahead on the two most important parts of the video, the actual brewing at 3:28 and the steaming at 4:34. Whoever decided to jumpcut ahead doesn't understand what they're filming, which is a video for people wanting to see how the features affect the actual drinks. Also, zoom in on both the espresso coming out of the spouts and show inside the pitcher as the milk is being steamed. Come on, guys.

Agreed. Very frustrating not to see the entire extraction and froth development. I also noticed he seems to double press the soft-touch buttons... does that indicate finicky buttons or is a double press necessary?

You should watch others' video, they show the pertinent aspects of the machine. I 've watched all that are available on KZfaq, though, just a few of them are available at this time..

I realize this is older video but can you tell me if the steam boiler is turned off can you still get hot water from spigot?
@michaelerbreviews3 жыл бұрын
It seems that you are double-pressing the shot button. Is that because the button requires 2 presses to initiate the extraction or is it because you didn't press the button firmly enough the first time? Since this review is several years old I am wondering (and skeptical) of the reliability of the touch panel. Have there been any issues with it?
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada3 жыл бұрын
Hi, you only have to press the button once for the double. I pressed it twice because the screen shuts off after a certain time to save energy. So the first touch was to turn the screen back on and the second to beging extraction. We have not had issues with the screen at all. In facti don't recall our service department changing one.

Two questions: First one, does the drip tray grate removable? With the grate off, a taller cup will fit better, doesn't? Second question, is there a future modification, on the drawing-board, to raise the unit's height to accommodate a taller cup? Thank you for an outstanding video presentation.
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada2 жыл бұрын
Hi, the grate is definitely removable, but raising the group would be something the manufacturer would have to do. One more way you can get more clearance is by using a bottomless portafilter

Nice video! Why did La Spaziale switch from a lever for the steam to a knob?
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada2 жыл бұрын
To be honest I don't know. The Vivaldi has a knob but the mini Vivaldi has a lever. I'm not sure about the reasoning behind this.

How would you characterize the steaming capability of this machine? What materials are the boilers made of and what are their sizes?

I am confused.. which is good this machine or profitec pro 700??

As an fyi, for making espresso in a taller cup, simply remove the drip tray.

Hi Swalek thanks for your great job! I wanted ask you which one would be the best choice ; la spaziale dream or e61 group machines ? I can't find out yet. thanks
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind compliment. Both styles of machines have their benefits. The E61 is very common so it is much easier to get accessories such as baskets, tampers, and other gadgets but with the LS group you get volumetric dosing and great value. The shot quality is also very good. A smaller diameter leads to a different but still very tasty shot.

To be able to use the double boiler feature does this need a 15 amp or 20 amp outlet and is it interchangeable? Also, between the S1 mini Vivaldi ii and this, what are some of the significant feature differences? I'm torn between this and the S1 mini Vivaldi ii
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada4 жыл бұрын
Hi, both boilers can work at 15 amps, they just change in between, they don't both get power at the same time. For most home use you won't even notice a difference between 15 and 20 amp modes. Also, since about a year ago La Spaziale only makes the machines in 15 amp for 110v, they can no longer be changed. The Dream has the digital display and built in on/off timer. Otherwise internally they are the same
@ggivensjr3 жыл бұрын
@@iDrinkCoffeeCanada I believe what is being asked is can you steam milk and extract shot simultaneously with 15 amp setup? Also, can you get hot water from spigot with steam boiler turned off?
