So where are the answers

As a native speaker of English, my wife asked me to try this test. I was born and grew up in Northern Ireland. My name is in Vietnamese because I was living in Vietnam when I set up the account and it wouldn't accept my real name. I am also a primary school teacher and a TEFL teacher. I couldn't make head nor tail from the first map. B is not opposite E in a way any native speaker would understand. B is physically connected to E. A native speaker would refer to it as next to, or beside not opposite. Native speakers understand a shop being opposite another shop as having a physical space between them, it could be internally in a mall with a walkway between them, or the opposite side of a street. As a native speaker I could not pass this test. No wonder my wife keeps getting 6.5 in these tests, they are ridiculous, contrived and divorced from the reality of how the English language is used in the real world.

I got 33/40 as i was a bit nervous and find it difficult but as soon as i start focusing its get easier btw thanks it helped me a lot in reading maps🥰

I got 25/40,i did it as if i'm sitting on an actual test,no cheating,no audio repeating.I think i can do better though.Thank you so much for the practice tests they are so helpful

For those who didn't get a high band, don't get discouraged. Neither do I. I had a hard time with the first two maps. Specially the second one. I understood that my problem is that I'm not familiar with the instructions (even though I know the words, but I panic at the moment). So I try to get familiar with these words and it's got better! I hope this little advise helps!

I got 33!!! gradually improving with maps, however need more practice lessons like this for maps and matching.

Okay, I'm a native English speaker, helping out Fang, and definitely, they screwed up the directions for 17, the climbing supplies store. Their directions are to go "up mountain round on the right until you come to the next turning on the left." Mountain road T's into Pine Street, and so to go up mountain road, you would go past the old railway line and past building A. However, I believe they intended building D to be the climbing supplies store, so the correct instruction would have been to follow Pine Street through the left turn in the road until you find the next building on your right, before the Ski passes building. Also, by the way, I don't think native English speakers, at least American English speakers, state "next turning" when giving directions.

36/40 I'm hopeless with maps in real life so I dreaded map questions but after overcoming my dread at d first part, I was able to calm down and attempt the questions. Thank you, this has given me much more confidence

36/40, initally I felt a little bit confused about my skill. However, this makes me more confident and head up to the next week test.

i got 33, thank you for this video. maps were my nightmare but not at all anymore :) btw i noticed something, in this type of audio the speaker explain the location for a couple of time, e.g. 1.northwest of the main road 2. opposite to library 3. northwest corner of the map... those all things are about one place so you can find the answer if even you miss the beginning of the speech (i hope this tip could help someone)
