I've been through a few different channels and this channel doesn't take you arround in circles. She's always straight to the point along with a tip or trick that would genuinely help, not just in theory.

The second map is hard and it was a bit confusing to understand when we hear words such as across or up down the road

This is really helpful. I recently wrote my IELTS test where I scored 7.5 band in my listening. I can recall struggling with this section, I lost concentration and missed almost the whole questions on the map. Also, I never realised the questions are in order, which meant I should've followed the questions instead of the letters. I'll be retaking the test in October because I need to score at least 8.5 in my listening and 8.0 in reading.

Thank you very much Asiya. I barely practiced and prepared for the test but thanks to your channel and tips I was able to score an overall band 7. (future test takers this doesn't mean you don't have to prepare well, it happened maybe because i'm already familiar with the english language since I was a child). Map 2 is tough, just imagine Google Maps giving you direction like the speaker from the audio 😁😜

Hi, there. Thanks for all you do. I got 5/5 on the first map 4/6 on the second one. The second one requieres more concretation, as it gives more information and you're expected to follow directions and cardinal points.

7 out 10. you're right the type 2 map is harder but with your advice I feel less preasure because I found in your videos that every one is able to work under preasure and manage the exam under control. :3
