Candidate is exceptionally talented and her knowledge, accent, ability to express, eye contact, pleasant and soft attitude, appropriate body language, swift and relevant answer s to all the questions, confidence level, genuine answers, tone, pace, intonation, clarity in speech, modulation are good, Grammar, Lexical resource, Sentence Structure ate also assessed as good. Only the area of improvement is fillers ( uh).

You are absolutely right. She needs to work on her pronunciation. She said/sounded "vigitables" which should have been "vegtable". Fillers, side particles overuse of words like "over there" could've been avoided. Not to judge her but as an improvement point for others.

The candidate is a band 8. While she's a confident speaker, her grammar and vocabulary choices in places show obvious first language interference. For example, 'ever since I've born'; 'off of lately'; part reason'; 'multi-heritage' . She struggles to extend and explain her ideas at the level required for band 9 during both section 2 and 3.

I reacted to the same phrases but there were several more examples that to me sounded unnatural, and I thought overall 8.0 or a strong 7.5.. but I'm not an examinator, nor am I a native speaker, but as a Swede 9.0 was easy to achieve for me, and my wife (whose first language is Russian) got 7.0 on her best test (I believe 7.5 on speaking), so I can just estimate based on the observation that this lady made slightly less mistakes than my wife does speaking English. Although they make a completely different set of mistakes, given that (I assume) they have different first languages. My wife is about the same level as this lady, really, but because she sometimes omits or adds articles (a, an, the) incorrectly (since there are no such articles in Russian), I think her English just sounds less fluent and advanced than it actually is, to the ears of an examiner. She somehow managed to finish a degree in biomedicine in London with a 6.5-7.0 ielts score (she did the test 4-5 times and she only got 7.0 once), however, so it's 7.0 and above allows you to get quite far. My challenge now is to take the Russian TORFL for the B2 level, equivalent to the 5.5-6.5 bands on IELTS 😅 wish me luck, I think I'll make it this year

@@awkwardsilence478Rehearsal with couple of native English speaking friends couple of days can do it for you if you are fluent. Just for the speaking part the best thing is to know yourself , as in when the interviewer asks about yourself you won't be stun without knowing you (i guess you get this) , also it's not mandatory to say truth, you can prepare stories for particular questions but the thing is you have to stay fluent and as said earlier body language speaks much louder.

@@mohammedirshad3004 Where from any part of statement do u assume that India has a national sport? Any country's national sport enjoys popularity, respect and value of its people, so there is an overlapping of these variables between a national sport and the game she mentioned. May be before advising anyone for correction, better boost up ur comprehension. I think this might help to make you seem atleast pretensiously "smart " next time.

Right!!! M sure score 9 is not the result of her performance, it seems to be the grace of this NICE examiner🤩 Moreover what is she doing at 9:23 “Cricket which is like a national sport of India” Seriously! She should thank God for the examiner who himself isn’t aware of information that she is propagating!!!

ok , so are we not gonna talk abt the fact that there's an inetrogation point(question mark) after what should have been an imperative sentece( command ) had it been punctuated correctly , in the title? edit:in simple words, the title has a question mark that should be a fullstop.

Remember that it isn’t really about the content but how it is delivered. Whether cricket is or is not the national sport doesn’t matter at all. It doesn’t matter if you like or don’t like cooking. What does matter is how clearly and completely you are able to answer the question with at least 2-3 points and examples while utilizing appropriate vocabulary and speaking with understandable pronunciation.
