Man, we all need this message….And the older you get the more you need it. When you’re young and healthy and full of life and expectations you can plow right past it, but at some point the pain, the disease, the sorrow can shipwreck you if you don’t have THIS fixed in your heart.

Ty I needed this because we just lost a very close friend here in Macon ga she was hit by a truck and killed at 21 years old and we have been angry because of this we needed this message

I so appreciate Grant's compassionate wise words that all of us need to hear. I'm so grateful that this world is not the end of the story; that God is writing His story, an eternal story, and we are written into that story for His glory and pleasure if we will just trust, believe and follow Jesus. How gracious is our God!

I always appreciate Grant’s preaching. He articulates his points so well. :] Was wondering if he might address more roots of the question, “why is life hard?” Jesus told us it would be and brings purpose to it, yes, but “why?” As our faith is put to the test, as mentioned, we may need to go back to the fact that God created us for relationship…and for that to be genuine, we had to have the ability to choose Him (the good) or not (the bad). And by not choosing Him, humanity brought hardship into the world. The concept definitely runs deep, so I think that’s enough for this comment. Lol It Is Well is a masterpiece - thank you for reviving awareness of it in the age of contemporary worship!
