I think I read a article that stated if all else fails about 80-90% of all currently active NPF's (Nuclear power facilities) would shutdown immediately to prevent meltdown. and the only ones that do not have these fail safes are in places like the Middle east. Or low income countries. So I believe most will be safe.

That's not true at all actually. Is your article from a reliable source?? Most of the active nuclear power plants, all around the world, require that they would be cooled at all times...EVEN when they are in a shutdown state. This is why they will meltdown after a while, when the cooling systems are not being supported. Just like Fukushima, it was shutdown but the cooling systems failed. Look at what happened. If they are to be cooled naturally, they have to be shut down for a very long time.

The last surviving man-made structure would be Hoover Dam, which would finally burst and collapse from 10,000 years of erosion and seismic activity. 10,000 years isn't a very long time, geologically speaking.
