Hello from Winnipeg, Canada 🇨🇦 love your vlogs and points of view in life. You're intelligent and open-minded unlike others. Philippines maybe viewed as a third world country and rated unfairly but you and the rest of tourist/expat/Afam can attest that it is one of the best place to live. Albeit, we have poverty that people see in some areas but every country also has it. But we smile, laugh and still hospitable and friendly to others in our country. Even as we are living abroad we bring that characters and traits that we are known for. I'm not surprised everytime I watched someone or met someone even here saying how they love the Philippines and the people. How shocked they are and so on. Some are just so quick to judge and doesn't give a you know about others that looked different from them, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Completely different from our belief and how we are raised. Yes, there's always a bad apple in every tree but what country or place doesn't have that, right? I hope you won't think that I'm being biased 😀 because like you I'm thankful to see other countries and been around other people but I'm still proud of my roots. God bless you both and enjoy the Philippines to its fullest! 👍👊❤

So true! I’m here in LA and whenever I call tech support like Apple, ADT Security and the others, the wait time is so long it normally takes me about an average 1 and a half hours just to fix my issue. They do pass me around as well.. Have nice day and stay Blessed!

I met a girl who works at a pharmacy in Lacey, Washington. She's in her mid 20s and according to her, she's never been outside Washington yet. To me that's sad. If only she drives down south for an hour she could have been to Portland, Oregon and explore what Oregon could offer that's different from Washington. Go out and explore. It don't have to be another country. Even to another province or island. See and compare different culture.

People need to explore other cultures before settling down and having a family. This opens up your world and people become more tolerant about their differences. Some are lucky to experience this. People should be given this opportunity to create a better world. Wishful thinking!

You are quite deep in your Analysis. I can really compare other countries to North America, even there, most people don’t realize that a state can be so different from each other that they seem like another country. You are from N.Y.? Imagine how different say, Manhattan would be from Albuquerque, N.M.? It really does take traveling to or even living in a place to really appreciate the place and if one likes, to do a comparative analysis.

Hi...I'm a Filipino living here in the UK, England (for quite some time now) ...First, everything was not favourable/not comfortable at first for me (like anybody else in a foreign country - you have to adjust & get to know & understand, the people & your surroundings, - but once you get used to it, everything will be okay (you could get by if you really tried to)...need time & effort, and now I'm used to it...I don't miss the Philippines - just excited to come & visit & see my Family/Relatives & friends...Keep safe everyone....Mabuhay.

For certain, you are way more mature than your age suggests. People from rich countries tend to make a big deal of many things that we, the poor, would simply take for granted. Why? Coz poor people have REAL problems to deal with, problems that the rich could not have imagined actually exist hence they create ones for lack of better things to do. I guess the woke culture in the US is a by-product of that mentality. You'll make a fine sociologist.

All I can say most people who are critical / prejudiced to other cultures are people who haven’t travelled, not exposed, therefore became closed minds. The only best place is their surroundings. Those open minded and adjusted are the most travelled. I know as I traveled and lived in Europe. I saw the difference. Just sad.

Living here in the Philippines has it's ups and downs like most countries. 1. You get more views here on your YT compared to living at your home country. 2. We have a son of a dictator president and corrupt government going on right now which is a bit scary because we never know when stuff may hit the fan anytime now. ML 2 may or may not come soon. 3. People here are more hospitable and smiles all the time throughout good and bad things we go through. Lastly from my perspective, we have months of summer drought which is like hell and months of typhoon and monsoon rains. That's why before jumping over the fence, pick things here or there where it really suits you.
