As someone who grew up hiking the Appalachain trail, it absolutely is as creepy as people think it is. There's a lot of bad energy there. It doesn't help that it's a very popular place for murderers to hold their victims and bury them. :)

14:45 IIRC the ground moves like that bc the wind is pulling the trees. The ground is soft enough that the whole tree is moving- the roots are pulling up the grass/moss above them, making it look like the forest floor is breathing

Oooh I have opinions on the FNAF designs!! I consider myself a bit of an animatronic nerd and by that I mean I know so much a Chuck E Cheese it’s ruined friendships! Anyway, I love the FNAF designs, don’t get me wrong but, I think they could’ve been way more visually scary if they would’ve followed common design trends. Specifically I’m talking about the silicone faces. The hard transition between the silicone and the fabric already makes it look quite odd but overtime silicone will also deteriorate. It will sag, stretch, rip, and crack. I’m seen videos of animatronics with damaged faces turned back on and it’s actually kinda disturbing. While we’re talking about animatronic faces I would like to bring up Tex’s Critters. I just think they’re really cool because they had hard shells under their masks and also their transition between fabric and silicone wasn’t quite as harsh. They’re some of the most aesthetically pleasing animatronics I think. They do have a sad story with the mental health of the guy who owned them though. There’s also Circus Playhouse animatronics which I think are cool and some of them have been damaged in fire. Also Willam after had to be some kind of super genius or the FNAF universe had to just be more advanced than our own because the FNAF 1 animatronics are shown to have fully functional hands but real most animatronics do not. In fact Uncle Klunk was considered revolutionary at the time he was made and he only had one articulated thumb. If you want to see a creep animatronic picture I’d definitely recommend looking for “mass produced uncle klunk” I think the Security Breach animatronic designs are just fine though. A few years ago I wrote an essay essay about why Chuck E Cheese’s was getting rid of their animatronics and one of the reasons I found in my research was “Kids aren’t fooled the animatronics” (bs reason tbh. All the reasons were bs imo) honestly I think Fazbear Entertainment would realize robots are cool are build a whole aesthetic around that to draw in customers. Cool looking robots tend to have a longer life span that realistic robots. Think about how some movie effects age. Some better than others. I highly doubt anyone will read this but I can’t pass up on the opportunity to completely nerd-out on my favorite topics lol.

@@kenna4256 FNAF kinda started my real interest in animatronics and I think it would be so fun to redesign them more realistically especially keeping those before and after pictures in mind! My favorites are the videos where they power up the damaged animatronics. It’s so eerie especially when it’s just shoved somewhere in a dim storage facility and is lit up by flashlights.
