I would love to see this in only drug store options! I grew up wearing only high end (mom took me to Estee Lauder at 16 for my first makeup and I never looked back!). Never ever used drug store until last year and have loved so many things. I have actually been on the hunt to find my favorite make up options in only drug store (just in case I am traveling and lose my bag of make up and need to repurchase) I want to know I can walk into the nearest drugstore, buy what I need, and know it will be great!

Such a fun video, I would love to see others do this. Everyone skin and tastes are so different. I have oily skin so I couldn't skip primer or setting spray. I would get a matte primer and a pore filling primer. I would get a powder foundation, I'm loving the new Maybelline one right now. I would get the revlon ColorStay skinawake concealer for my under eyes and the makeup Revolution pot concealer for my face. Bronzer would be the l'oreal lumi (I've complety finished one and repurchased). Mascara would be the l'oreal pink primer and the Bambi mascara. Setting spray would be nxy matte setting spray. I have to get eyeshadow primer, since my eyes are oily too. Not sure which one tho because the one I use now is discontinued. Blush would probably be a profusion blush pallette so I get a lot of colors in one go. Highlight would be a few cp supershocks since they are my favorite highlighter formula. For eyeshadow I'd probably buy a big Maga cp palette and an adept all shimmer palette to give me the most verity in both sparkly shimmers and quality mattes.

I love Covergirl for their brown mascaras. I know you know this: almost no one makes a true brown mascara! CG is the only one I've found near me that doesn't require an online order. I did recently buy L'oreal's balm mascara in brown, but I know their CF status is debatable so it's probably not one you've had any thoughts about.

I love highlighter but not a ton of highlighters. For whatever reason I'm so in love with the rare beauty ones. It's smooth imo on my incredibly textured skin. It's light enough for my fair skin without leaving an icy cast if that makes sense. I just love it.

Aw I love your views on valentine's day! I've always loved celebrating valentines day by just sending valentines to all my friends and baking them cupcakes and things. Wish I had this advice earlier. Stopped wearing m/u during lockdown. Had to dump most when I entered the living again. Spent wayyyy too much trying to find good product matches for skin that became drier and moved from arid to humid climate. Thank you! BTW, this lipstick looks beautiful on you.

i love this sort of businesswoman look you have in this video, it's beautiful and almost exactly how i dress and do my makeup for interviews! ❤ i'm an oily skin guy so i need primer (i like the elf watermelon gripping primer, works great for my acne) but i'd skip on all lip products, i make my own tinted lip balm. i'm in the market for a new tinted powder so i might check out that covergirl one, and i've had my eye on the blonzer for months 👀 have a lovely day

Mine would be: Primer-I’d need a pore filling one and both that I currently used are discontinued I think. I’d probably go for the Tarte BB tinted primer next. Foundation-Purito BB cream and LA Girl white mixer. Concealer-NYX serum. Powder-CoverGirl Simply Ageless pressed powder. Blush-ELF Always Cheeky, Buxom Seychelles, NYX Bang Bang. I don’t need bronzer or highlighter. If I had to I’d get the Flower Beauty bronzer in Sunrise and use the ELF Halo Glow liquid filter as a highlight and mixer. Brows-ELF Wow Brow. Mascara-This changes regularly but currently ELF Lash It Loud. Eyeliner-I need a black pencil always. I like Essence and Kokie for those. Eyeshadow-I’d have a tough time losing all my curated singles. I could get by with Colourpop Stone Cold Fox, Clay It Cool, and High Tide with Melt She’s in Parties. If I can’t get palettes, I’d grab an ELF metallic liquid shadow or a CP Super Shock. Lips-I’d be fine with a few lip glosses from Buxom, NYX, or ELF. I’d want a cool toned, warm-tones, and MLBB. I don’t need a setting spray but I do use the ELF Set and Mist for a lot of things like wetting shimmer shadows and setting.

Dh & I go cruising and my fear is losing my luggage on the flight into the departure port. Needing to quickly buy replacements the morning of the cruise. We always allow 1-2 nights to let the luggage catch up and buffer us from cancellations and delays but I think about a fast trip to Walmart for the essentials. I keep a drugstore list of makeup & skincare alternatives I know I like on my iPhone notes app. And a bare minimum of essential clothes.

I was looking through my vanity, and I do think Dominque Cosmetics Transition palette would be a great all in 1 face and eyeshadow palette. It does not get enough use from me, but it is beautiful. I love sparkle and metalics, though, so I think if I went this route, I would want to get some companion shimmers.

I think I'd skip out on primer, foundation, setting spray and bronzer (i don't even own bronzer because i don't wear it so💀) and opt for these: Concealer: L'Oréal Perfect Match Powder: essence all about matte, it's cheap and i don't need something special highlighter: nyx fate light bender (could probably skip but im a sucker for colourful shimmer and i use it as eyeshadow as well) contour: nyx sweet cheeks in taupe blush: m. asam magic finish satin blush in soft harmony and mac sheertone blush in sincere brows: nyx lift and snatch and catrice super glue styling gel (i did prefer the benefit one when i had it but i can live without it) eye primer: ud primer potion and nyx glitter glue eyeshadow: i think i'd start over w splurging on a nice selection of singles and buying eyeshadow palettes later eyeliner: maybelline hyper precise in matte black and bhcosmetics power pencil in black (i love a colourful waterline but this is a staple) mascara: probably just the essence lash princess lashes: kiss lashes in meadow lips: lethal chimera liquid lipstick in abyss, l'oréal ultra matte liquid lipstick in 864 tasty ruby, catrice ultimate matte in 090, nyx butter gloss in praline, misslyn rich colour gloss in naked truth

Which colour BM Blonzer do you use? I’m outside of the US, which means Macy’s makeup links don’t work as they don’t ship makeup to my country. Also really love your whole makeup look in this video (not to mention your hair is always enviably on point 👌)

Ok I really thought on this so my list of holy grail would buy if I had no makeup Elf glow sunscreen, Chanel le beiges water fresh, beauty pie corrector, Nars soft matte concealer, beauty pie luminizing wand, Nars cream bronzer, physicians formula butter bronzer, Mac blush please, Chanel In love blush, beauty pie waterproof mascara, benefit brow pencil and gel and eyeshadow I think woodwork from Mac and color pop free to be and tower 28 lipgloss. Also Bobbi brown beach perfume and maybe wood sage and sea salt from Jo Malone. I know it’s a lot but they are my favorites of favorites

easy, if i have to start my makeup collection again, i would buy just 3 items: Merit foundation and concealer stick, Nudestix Nudies all over face blush which covers eyes, cheeks and lips then an eyebrow pencil. then i would force myself to wake up from the bad dream so i can be with all my makeup again.

The only mascara that is drugstore that doesn’t give me 🐼 eyes is LoReal Telescopic. I would like to try the new Elf mascara, reminds me of Benefit Roller Lash that doesn’t give me panda eyes.

I wanted to ask about that too because I am about the same tone😀 I have 018 and its a tiny bit too dark and cool toned on me. I wonder if 010 is a better match 🤔 its so hard relying on swatches online.

This is fun & painful to think about 😞 I'm thinking of downsizing my collection because it is old & there's too much variety compared to how much I wear makeup these days & I thought it was a "phase" but its been 3 or 4 years now 😞 I had a plan to purchase Lisa Eldridge lipsticks for the matte finish ( the Velvet & the insanely saturated ) & Linda Hallberg for the glossy finish, aka the fantastick. And 1 lip butter from nyx & 1 lip stain from e.l.f , just for the fun of it & to be housed in my bag 🎒 and keep my eyeshadow collection as it is because I have 5 limited editions , 5 intact palettes & idk how many I've depotted 😀 !!!! Now , if I started again, I'd buy what I've been using these last years ! - Maybelline fit me matte and poreless - nyx HD powder (but I might obt for pink to brightness) - essence make me brow gel no.4 - essence lash prinssece (purple tube) - odens eyes little jasmine blush or essence the blush in bespoke ( now both of them are discontinued 😡) I'll find a dupe for one of them or similar tone (bronzey peachy rosy nude) !!! - 3 lipsticks ( brownie nude (blushing brown from e.l.f & brick red (probably from lisa Eldridge )& hot pink leaning purple ( pop form LH cosmetics) - For eyeshadows, I'd get Jason wu prickly pear palette & multiple colors & finishes of lh cosmetics crayons (multiuse pencils) and nude black & brown waterline pencils ! No primer , highlight, bronzer lip liners, or setting sprays !

I mean, the eyeshadow palette is shocking to me. I was guessing Persona Identity 1. If all my makeup was gone I’d probably focus on a new mascara, liquid liner, something for brows, and powder foundation before getting overwhelmed and stopping.
