Me too, my issue is that my hair is very low porosity so even with a diffuser and plopping it for like 20 minutes, it still takes like 2 hours to be 80% dry.

Anytime I go from wet styling ypside down to upright styling and flipping my hair over, THAT ends up making my curls wonky with weird sections in the back.

How do you get such tight curls? When I scrunch my hair some pieces form tight curls and others are very loose.

It's the same for me, my underneath are tighter curls and the top are more wavy, it's completely normal! My haircut helps blend them together!

@@Shananiginssi know this is probably a hate comment but its worth mentioning that yes, if you are having a bad hair day, and you need your curls to look great, theres nothing wrong with using a curling iron! i also know tons of curly girls that use a curling iron to even out the curl pattern, especially those with wavy-curly hair!

Whenever I brush my hair the curls become weird. Since I completely stopped brushing it the curls just come out naturally without doing anything special. I just wash with a mild, pH neutral shampoo, no conditioner and then apply a light hair oil and it doesn't matter how I dry the hair, it curls. And that's all I do. But if I brush the curls don't come out nice.

Was just going to say the same thing! I can’t brush my hair, I run my fingers through it whilst the conditioner in, in the shower and then rinse with cold water. Not sure why my hair likes cold water but it does, also use shampoo with kawakawa.

Whenever I try to use this method, the curl clump so perfectly, but then it never works in the end, even if I super carefully flip my hair (first to one side before turning it completely upright). I always get weirdly laying curls on top of my head because they don't fully flip in the right direction and it's so frustrating argh But you hair always look so gorgeous! :) Maybe it's because my hair is too short...?

What's wrong with the 'wonky' one she shakes? I can't spot what's wrong with it. Love this channel, I think I have the same curls but I always air dry so they never look as good as hers.

Nothing wrong with it! I was just demonstrating that if any curls go wonky after scrunching them, you can shake them and the curls should reform at the ends

Whenever I flip my hair COMPLETELY tangles, like can barely get even my fingers through it's so bad. And my top layer of hair is almost straight, when my bottom layer is like yours :(

My hair will look exactly like this wet and then look NOTHING like your end result (my wave pattern is not this tight dry- ever and I don’t have curls). I’ve tried diffusing (diff style diffusers too) and air drying and casting … my hair takes way too long to dry and so it always gets messed up in the drying process. Sectioning and Tension brushing w my tangle teezer messes up my pattern. Anyone else? 😩

frizz can be hidden curls, i'd try a moisture mask and some gel first before committing to anything!

nope. not until the hair is soaking wet and conditioned again- no combing only finger detangling if you must!!

Try using a difuser or if u don't have it,put ur hair in body hole from T-Shirt,close arm holes (tape or smtg) and put ur blow dryer through neck hole,that will act as a diffuser which dries ur curls the way they looked when wet (idk if it works,many ppl recommend this,i have wavy hair so my steps are different) Hope it helps❤
