My problem is I can get it to look great initially, but after an hour it looks awful. I have about 80% uncoloured untreated hair that I use a clarifying shampoo on and a deep conditioner once a week. I don't touch it much. It's to the point where I just throw it up in a clip and don't even bother.

I started the CGM a while ago and love it. I'll try your suggestion with the brush, as my waves are quite stringy. And I love your hair, it's so beautiful! I wish I had curls like yours 💖

My hair is fine and I have A lot of it. I use primer, curl cream, and hard hold gel for my waves. I think waves need more hold

Wow,I have done my hair soaking wet when I was younger (as my mom has told me to,she is a professional hair stylist) and my curls were amazing alsmost every wash, then I tried a lot of new ways and oils and all of this and feel like it never really worked for me. Mx hair also got curlier and I got mocked for it quite a bit, so I tried to "calm" it down more. I have dry hair and can drench my hair in leave in. ^^ I will try my old routine again and combine it with the tension brushing and let you know hot it works! <3 Thank you so much for this video :)

I don't think it is always about time, I went to the hairdresser, I have straight hair, it took them 10 mins to cut about 5 cm off my hair and they charged me 45 pounds. That's ridiculous for 10 mins of work when men are getting charged 15 quid!!

Your tips for more clumps are giving me hope to try...AGAIN! I use Not Your Mothers Curl Cream and a diffuser. I've found that my curls get way too stringy during the diffusing process. Maybe adding the gel would be a good idea for me? Also...is it normal for me to take 40 or more minutes to diffuse my hair? My hair isn't as long as yours but it's very thick. Any other tips are appreciated. Your hair is just stunning. The cut, length, curl clumps, and especially the color.

I was doing that, but I had a lot of breakage in the front. It may be that I just move too much. I use a bonnet or leave it down. I always use a silk pillowcase either way.

Hey girl! Is it better to diffuse or air dry extremely thick-and by thick I mean salons charge me 500 to dye my hair bc it takes 7 hours- very long hair? Also, you always seem s9 happy and cheerful. I am going through a depression, and was just wondering, what keeps you going on the tough days? What keeps you cheerful, when youre not? Any advice? Thank you

I'm living in the UK and your videos are really helpful, specially for finding products in the UK from your recommendations. It is really early times for me but so far love the method of application in shower as is so much convenient. My favourite gels are Curlsmith Hydro Style flexi Jelly and Ouidad but the later is very difficult to find in the UK. Thank you very much for your videos and knowledge ❤

Just got my bounce curl brush in the mail yesterday and realized I have no idea what I’m doing. This video was perfect timing. Thank you so much.

You have beautiful curly hair Hannah, fair play to you its alot of hard work to do your curly hair! But an easier way instead of sectioning bit by bit, flip your hair forward and add curlcream. Brush your wet hair to create curl clumps, and scrunch in the foam and shake to form curls. You can also use a t shirt to remove too much excess water. Then once the curls have formed, use extra strong hold gel and keep your head forward whilst diffusing your hair so you can see what your doing. I have mentioned it before, but you can leave the gel cast in if you do wash and style your hair in the evening. Because the gel cast will keep the curls in place properly, and scrunch it out in the morning! Its good to sleep on a silk pillowcase and silk bonnet also, please let me know if that helps you or anyone!?

Well I guess I know mine is fine and medium-high density if every hair stylist I’ve ever been to says without fail “your hair is fine but you have a lot of it”? The porosity is something I’ve never heard of… but it makes total sense. Thank you for not charging $325 for this. I’m sure the money is worth it but it’s not in the cards for anyone. ❤

Hi, I´ve started CGM a year ago until had my hair cutted short. Now it is under my ears and it´s very difficult to style. What you recommend for shorter hair than you have :-) I am not able to do so much tension during brushing or maybe I´m just unhady :-) Also applying gel is tricky :-) My hair is thick btw. I've recently found that "seaweed-like texture" for my high-porosity hair means completely soaked, not just spritzed. So It's easiest during wash day, since I just run through the whole series of steps in the shower, immediately after shampoo and conditioner. The hardest part with thick hair though, is to be disciplined (as you are) with sectioning my hair to ensure I've used enough product - it gets so tedious!😆 And I absolutely do the hover diffuse or I get massive amounts of frizz. Thank you for the tips!!
