2:21 HOLUP...THIS IS GENERATIONS?! O_o, I really thought this was a very modifided Unleashed on Emulator, man, with those shaders and an actual working Speed Gauge.... They got us on the first half, not gonna lie.jpg PS: Now Im reeeeally hyped to see where the modding community will get and could achive...first the perfect Unleashed/Colours drift animation, then the Spin dash for Modern Sonic, then the Unleashed Speed Gauge really works and is not just an image...Man Sonic gens fans took the "GENERATIONS" very seriously....and I love that.

@UAJxyy dude, the "cannon" or "launcher" and the dash pannel on 2:35 (wich it isn't yellow for the tricks) can't be from unleashed, the "launchers" were slower plus they had a display of the button we are supposed to press to get lauched correctly, and again, the dash pannel is not yellow and on that part of the stage was yellow to perform tricks with a quick time event pressing a combo of buttons. This IS Generations

A mod where Shadow is actually running and not gliding. I like these. His run animation in games is just amazing. My favorite being Sonic Heroes.

I have a word with the developer of the mod... when shadow boosts he flies using his shoes it happened in forces and in generations!!!!!!!! Anyways your content never disappoints like usual

Man..each time I see unleashed stuff ANYWHERE, I'm reminded how I basically grew up with the wii version as opposed to say, the xbox version..hurts just a little bit more each time. :,)

Could you imagine how sore Jason Griffith's throat would be if sonic and shadow had voice lines in every cutscene, in addition to voice lines when jumping,boosting,screaming and drifting.

There is something that has been bothering me all these years: Sonic shouldn't be able to grind on rails after SA2 cuz his shoes really shouldn't allow him to. Shadow's on the other hand are built for it and he should be the only one to grind. But that's just me lol

Soap shoes were not in SA2 for the most part of the development. In fact if you take a look at the demo of SA2 he has his normal shoes and grinds on rails just fine

I think the soles of Sonic's shoes aren't rubber. They are probably made of some low-friction material that helps aid him in rail grinding and running

Well, this is technically a mod and not an original game from the ground up. Yeah the mod improves it, but not many fans have made good original fan games completely built from the ground up.

I prefer this boost over the forces boost where shadow is just gliding, it feels more powerful

@@immasword I prefer sliding, since it adds more personality to him; gliding does makes him look like a speeding meteor, but at the same time, it fits way better with his Super form.

Is Shadow's boost him skating because Sonic's running and boosting animations are the same, or is it just a case of people constantly insisting on not having him boost the way he does canonically?

It's the people's opinions, because the modders were able to make dark sonic and other characters fly as they boost. I prefer the way he boosts in the Generation's boss fight and the Episode Shadow in forces, it just makes sense to me. It's like he has rockets on the bottom of his shoe that make him go faster, thus giving him that flying look.

Bruuuuh u know what this actually would've been a very very good idea to stretch out the length of the game in sonic unleashed while still keeping the core game play the same. Wtf didn't they make the night time stages shadow levels and made the design more in line with how the day levels play but instead your play as shadow on missions to stop egg man as well as sonic during the day stages. Would've been a far better game and could've made for a better story and wouldn't have hurt gameplay since sonic shadow play damn near the same.

As much as i love the idea, i can't imagine Unleashed without Werehog. Sure his stages are annoying as hell at times but he's also what makes Unleashed special compared to other Sonic games. Although i do wish Shadow or more casts would be in Unleashed.

Honestly, with the Xbox Series consoles already delivering an enhanced experience, I can't see them coming out with any kind of enhanced version of Unleashed. If they did, my guess is it would probably be untouched with the exception of an FPS bump, with releases being on only PC and PS5 due to the PS5 not being backwards compatible with PS3 games.

It's kinda make scene whenever Shadow do a little hop and it's give little delay of feets animation because Shadow use hover shoes and Sonic have delay but his balance keep liek it's feature on game instead of little bit of details movement bahahaha
