Ironically Kemmler was probably one of the oldest and first special character miniature in Warhammer fantasy tabletop with any significant backstory.

I just love how he bowed to Krell at the start and gave him massive respect. Krell should also be an optional Legendary lord for the Barrow Legion and, like Vlad&Isabella, you could then take Kemmler as a hero in your army.

Och, this one hurt because i actually really like Kemmler, and the vampire counts is my favorite faction lol. But you are 100% right. His ability to heal in foreign territories is almost totally useless now that he takes attrition again. I know you can still raid to stop the attrition but that kills your movement. Great video though.

Consider after this series of advisors advising is done doing interactions between the lords. I could see it being more jokes like this, but also there is potential to really get into the fantasy politics and create something of a narrative.

Krell should be a legendary lord. In the old old warhammer fantasy lore he told the Chaos Gods what to do.

the fuck when your favorite Special Character in all of Warhammer is Kemmler, which makes him my favorite LL in Warhammer 1, (but wait theres more!), and I mained him in Game 1 before he had Krell!. In Warhammer 2 Khatep was my favorite LL and I mained him, while in Warhammer 3 my Chaos Dwarfs have finally arrived and so I can finally play Astragoth. That "Return of the Lichemaster" mod for Game 2 was a Godsend for Kemmler and I sorely miss it not being in Game 3, hopefully some day its ported over, as I genuinely LOVE Kemmlers old White Dwarf "Army of Cairns", to the point that had he somehow managed to keep this Army of Cairns/Barrow Legion Faction throughout WFB 6th-8th Edition, I may have actually played him on the Table Top over the Chaos Dwarfs! Heinrich Kemmler as a Character and his form of Necromancy just felt like "being at home" over all the rest, and this includes Arkhan who I so nearly chose as my WFB army, as it was between VC Kemmler-TK Arkhan-Big Hat Chorfs. I don't know why but Kemmler just felt more natural, like he reminded more of my own D&D Necromancers, and so was much more relatable then all other users of Necromancy.

Fun fact: Kemmler is probably the earliest and most consistent character in warhammer lore, as in he was always a loser, for example he shows as the main antagonist in WHFRP 1st edition campaign "The Lichemaster" - it was a campaign for beginning characters - where he gets owned by some villagers, a few desperate dwarfs and the randomly generated player characters on their first profession which could be beggar, graverobber, pimp and such (seriousy in 1st ED you had to be seriously lucky to roll something useful that players in other rpg's take for granted). Fun Fact 2: Krell back then was named "Adolphus Zwemmer" lol

I have never played was Heinrich Kemmler, but i love playing as Manfred or Vlad and finds them still to be a fun faction in warhammer3 though they do need an improved roster, in the early days they had advantage of many monster units and flying units, now everyone has those.

I'll admit the vampire counts are not as strong when it comes to skeletons or grave guard even zombies unless they're given to that necromancer of the blue rose faction whatever his name is, but this necromancer is actually very good when it comes to ghost armies only and they can be very devastating on the field😅

I would like to see dwarves get roasted next (doesn't matter which) see the advisor talk about how you need to download all the iconic dwarf units like thunder barges, demon slayers and rune constructs (if those are even canon ill admit I didn't look that up) just to make the faction halfway fun to play or how despite being the inventors of gunpowder they have worse artillery then the empire or vampire coast imagine inventing gunpowder and getting outcannoned and outgunned by a bunch of drunk vampires and zombies role-playing pirates of the carribbean

It's pretty sad that Ghorst is the most non "legendary" legendary lord in the entire game and yet his zombie gimmick stacks are basically the only interesting thing the VC even have going for them right now.

I don't really wanna use Kemmler because Kemmler doesn't really stand for anything. Even evil characters stand for stuff, but Kemmler's chaos alliance thing kinda makes him a but generically evil to me. He lacks focus.
