Morphing jar getting flipped like an omelet, while getting a bunch of books thrown at it. In a tryout match that starts you and your opponent off with skull invitation burn. Aka sick burn, bro.

It would have likely ended in an FTK had the Jar player used Imsety. Blue Eyes player dropped Maxx C, that would have been at least 3 more draws, potentially 4 mills off of Zombie Vampire. If it milled a monster that would have been another draw. So -8 cards. Had the skull invitation thing not been there jar would have set the 3rd Taiyou.

It was a Blue-Eyes player, they ended their own career before it even started.

I think Konami gave up after xyz card's became a thing.

they did, they just chose the wrong way to do it (the burn cards are easily destroyed/removed). They were attempting to make an anti-combo format that would punish you for playing combo decks (ex: the average 20 card graveyard combo would deal 12,000 damage to you in this format if you didn't remove the traps)
