i am born into a muslim family but didnot really practice much and i was smoking for around 8 years. after i did my umrah i was looking deeply into islam and tried to stop smoking. what i did was, everytime i want to smoke i would say Bismillah. so i starts to feel guilty saying Bismillah doing something that is haram and i eventually stop smoking Alhamdulillah

I remember being young in Islam in my teens and having 50% Muslim friends and 50% Non-Muslim friends. When I would hang with my Non-Muslim friends we would drink and smoke and talk to girls. When I would hang with my Muslim friends we would talk about the deen, hand out food to the poor and do dawah. Then Allah gave me a sign that my Non-Muslim friends weren't really my friends and did not have my best interest at heart and I left them and surrounded myself with Muslim friends. Best decision I ever made after taking my Shahada at 13 years old. Some of my Non-Muslim friends took Shahada after I decided to go all in on Islam.

I'm only a few minutes in, and the first thing that Djuan mentioned is something that kept me from taking my Shahada for years! I had belief, felt Islam is what الله mandated for mankind, but I still was hesitant to take my Shahada. I felt I would "fail" as a Muslim... That I would struggle to part ways with the "current me".

Allah swt teaches us to adress that concern by reciting surah Al-Fatihah, more specifically the ayah 5 "Iyyaka Na'budu Wa Iyyaka Nastaeen" which means, we worship You alone and none else, and rely on You alone and none else. Islam is a responsability, but you can't fail when you rely on Allah swt.

The shatan does that to me he says I am not praying properly so what's the point. And makes me have these thoughts that I am not a perfect Muslim or I should try better tomorrow and that day started off bad so really there is no point and doing the rest of the prayers. But I am not going to give up I am going to keep trying and will ask for Allah to help me.

And know that the Satan is weak [Quran 4:76], but he's wicked and tries to discourage you from obeying Allah. And if you have other muslim brothers be with them. It's easier for Satan to allure one muslim alone. Try doing the prayers in the mosque as much as you can. May Allah give you the strength brother.

Yeah.... jst like what brother Mohammad Ali said, Satan is always trying to stop one from doing such priceless act till he/she die so that he (satan) will have more companions in the hellfire.... May Allah protect us all.. So my advise is, if you really have that believe, the truth is clear to you and you are sincerely honest to your self then do it and become a muslim before its too late,(because we all dont know when are we goinng to die). And also keep that in mind; you are going to adjust you self in order to be closer to Allah, not in order to be pure, because no one is perfect though you will never be... It's that Son n Father terms in the Bible that make Christian believe in the Mangod, son of god, another god besides the Father one n only God n then later become Trinity. To us Muslims we are his creations, we are His servants n we submit to His will, the will of Allah n we worship Him alone. Have you research the true teachings of Abraham/Ibrahim AS, Moses/Musa AS n Jesus/Isa AS. But people after Jesus went astray. All the prophets taught to believe in n worship the one n only God The Father/Allah but Paul who never met Jesus, through his Satan inspired vision corrupted Jesus' teaching. Prophet Muhammad SAW came to bring people to the true teaching n religion, Islam. Good Luck with your son n Father. Don't waste your time trying to convince Muslims through your lenghty narratives. We have the Quran, that's our guide.

Of course you have to look after your family especially your parents sister, because Allah says this about our parents in Qur'an Al-Qur'an 17:23 For your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And honor your parents. If one or both of them reach old age in your care, never say to them ˹even˺ ‘ugh,’ nor yell at them. Rather, address them respectfully. Al-Qur'an 31:14 And We have commanded people to ˹honour˺ their parents. Their mothers bore them through hardship upon hardship, and their weaning takes two years. So be grateful to Me and your parents. To Me is the final return. So as a Muslim you have to fullfill your filal duty of taking care of your parents, even if they didn't convert it doesn't matter, it's your duty to take care of your family.

Djuan, welcome to islam my brother! You have overcome the biggest hurdle by testifying your faith in Allah and his messenger. The fact that you found your path to islam all by yourself without any muslim friends is a testimony to your pure heart and pondering mind. Don't worry about being a perfect muslim, no such a person exists. The more you pray and read the quran, the closer you will get to Allah and the stronger your faith will become. When you start having questions doubts or second guesses, don't just keep them festering in your mind, but reach out to learned muslims around you to address those thoughts. Or to our beloved brother Muhammad Ali, i'm sure he will gladly answer all your questions. Just remember that satan is always jealous of people who obeyed their creator because he didn't. So he is constantly trying to deflect us from the right path. I wish you steadfastness in your faith, all the best in life, and a place in the highest abode in paradise. Ameen

Towards the end when all of Djuan's questions were answered by brother Muhammad Ali and he took the Shahada, it just made my eyes watery especially when brother Muhammad Ali said that Wallaho you made my day, it is the best ending of the day and we as Muslims want that everyone is connected to the Creator and SubhanAllah there is nothing better than what brothers like Muhammad Ali are doing in the field of giving Da'wah..! Wallahi Allah has a lot of rewards for you guys waiting for you in Paradise, Insha'Allah Ta'alah! I am a useless Muslim, who wants to know the religion better and I want to go to UK just to meet all the Da'aees out there like Muhammad Hijab, Muhammad Ali etc so that I can learn my religion better. I'm beyond beyond happy to see younger people of my generation educating themselves and getting to witness and discover the right path MashaAllah it's literally all the guidance of Allah swt and obviously a person's willingness and niya(intention). As someone who was born and raised in a Muslim family and society, I realized how tough it might have been for those who reverted searching for the truth especially years ago when internet was invalid, hence when Muslim reverts talk about their journey to Islam it soothes my heart, the sacrifices they take, the language barrier for some of them and most importantly their pure intense faith in Allah it actually strengthens my own iman(faith) which then I feel more grateful and thankful that I was born Muslim and that Arabic is my first language so this kind of videos helped me a lot to feel and sense Allah in everyday life Alhamduliallah. Mashallah tabaarakrrahman. I feel so happy whenever I see a brother or a sister taking the shahadah... Alhamdulillah. I always feel like they should never be left alone and that they need help, guidance, support, more than before as many of them get ghosted by family members and close ones upon accepting Islam. we should be there for them whenever we can❤
