Tips to gain the love of ALLAH. 1. Repentance: “Indeed Allah loves those who are constantly repentant.” (Holy Qur’an 2:222) Allah loves the repentant slave, who constantly turns back to Him, knowing He is the All-Forgiving, Most-Forgiving, the Acceptor of Repentance, the Pardoner. No matter how often one repeats a sin, and no matter how grave the sin is, one should constantly turn back to Allah. Abu Hurayrah narrated that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, “If somebody commits a sin and then says, ‘O my Lord! I have sinned, please forgive me!’ and his Lord says, ‘My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sins).’ Then he remains without committing any sin for a while and then again commits another sin and says, ‘O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,’ and Allah says, ‘My slave has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven my slave (his sin).’ Then he remains without Committing any another sin for a while and then commits another sin (for the third time) and says, ‘O my Lord, I have committed another sin, please forgive me,’ and Allah says, ‘My slave has known that he has a Lord Who forgives sins and punishes for it, I therefore have forgiven My slave (his sin), he can do whatever he likes.’” (Bukhari) One should follow up a bad deed with seeking forgiveness and doing good deeds, so that the bad deed is wiped out. One should not tire of repenting to Allah. It was narrated by Anas that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.” (Ibn Majah) 2. Purification: “Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.” (Holy Qur’an 2:222) Allah loves when a slave purifies himself from impurities, both major and minor. Being pure also includes being pure from shirk and sinfulness etc... 3. God-consciousness: “Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].” (Holy Qur’an 09:04) Often translated as God-consciousness or piety, taqwa is to protect oneself from the Hellfire by performing what has been commanded by Allah and abstaining from what has been prohibited. 4. Goodness and perfecting our good deeds: “And Allah loves the doers of good.” (Holy Qur’an 3:134) The complete verse reads, “Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good.”

According to Islam, These 3 Sins May Erase ALL Your Good Deeds 1. Going Beyond The Limits Allah Has Set It was narrated from Thawban that the Prophet (PBUH) said: “I certainly know people of my nation who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the mountains of Tihamah, but Allah will make them like scattered dust.” Thawban said: “O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us and tell us more so that we will not become of them unknowingly.” He said: “They are your brothers and from your race, worshipping at night as you do, but they will be people who, when they are alone, transgress the sacred limits of Allah.” (Sunan Ibne Majah, Hadith 4386) In the modern era, every single person has access to gadgets which they use according to their moods. Although these devices are a need of recent time, we can’t think of living without them. On the other hand, they have given easy access to the indecent stuff on the internet. There comes a time when we know about all the limits Islam has described but we destroy our faith and loss our good deeds. 2. Disclosing Your Sins Publicly Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Prophet (PBUH) saying. “All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those of the Mujahirin (those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to the people). An example of such disclosure is that a person commits a sin at night and though Allah screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning, and says, ‘O so-and-so, I did such-and-such (evil) deed yesterday,’ though he spent his night screened by his Lord (none knowing about his sin) and in the morning he removes Allah’s screen from himself.” (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 6069) 3. Worshipping Allah With Others And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers.” (Surah Zumar, verse 65) Indeed, Islam is the religion of forgiveness that is why He has provided us a path of repentance so that we could ask for pardon from Him. And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (Surah Ale Imran, verse 129) Only disbelievers despair of Allah’s mercy. We should keep faith in Allah as He forgives all sins no matter how huge the number of sins is!

Somethings abit off about this. He recites surat baqara for 2 and a half hours then continues with another surah then takes rukuu of the same length as the recitation and sujjud of same length as well. A night cannot be that long if that is just the first rakaat.

Pls explain tuhajjid. I read my full isha prayers, all 17 rakaats with witr also. But everyone says witr should be read in tuhajjid prayers. I read 2 rakaat at tuhajjid time. Am I doing right or wrong?
