I had hail damage on the roof of my 08 Dodge Ram back in 2009 and just for the roof damage I got a quote from insurance of $925! Just for that way back in 2009. So I think your damage is easily more damage than mine.

if you oil your truck use plastic sheeting to keep the mess at bay I know as I do it to my trucks every year.
