Canada. May I just say that I wasn’t a “Captain Jack Sparrow Fan” as I’ve heard AH mention. I hadn’t seen any of the Pirates movies; I had some older Johnny Depp favourite movies of mine but when this whole court case started I wasn’t a die hard Depp fan. I didn’t know who Amber Heard was and I definitely didn’t have a side. I can say unequivocally that I’m a die hard Johnny fan now; I was always some kind of fan of the actor but I’m completely amazed by the man. It’s not a politically motivated opinion or conclusion it’s just the feeling I had in the pit of my stomach. I can agree that we’re all flawed but his flaws didn’t involve cruelty and gaslighting and manipulation and deception. And I’m completely supportive of women; I sat and watch Christine Blassey-Ford testify and I believed in my heart that she was telling the truth. And that she was a victim. Well I believe in my heart that Johnny was telling the truth and I believe that he was victimized. We’re so quick to preach about inclusivity for everyone and it’s important but it’s also important to remember that being white, male and straight does not shield you from being targeted or being victimized.

It's true...!!! I knew of a couple that were gamblers and they had won 4 million in the Lottery. They started gambling even more heavily; within a few years they lost all of their money to gambling.

I’ve heard actors from the 80’s and 90’s that became extremely successful talk about Nicolas Cage time and time again now. He had a huge home in California and he let a lot of young, less successful, actors stay there in the 80’s. The guy truly is a beautiful soul for inspiring so many and helping build their artistic confidence

It's heart-breaking listening to him and knowing what he's endured throughout his life, and he never complains about it, he simply keeps going forward as best he can, and he's inspiring. He's a unique human being who's deep and thoughtful, who's kindness and generosity is endless, and he's like no one else we'll probably ever experience in our lifetimes. He's a victim, he's a survivor, and maybe now he can simply be and find better things to come. He deserves that much.

Only two hard core empaths have made it to the silver screen. Johnny Depp and Robin Williams. Both radiate something that is awfully hard to find in this world and you can see it by how much they are being loved and how people care for them. There's a lot of very successful artists who are truly loved by the public but these two stand out for their extremely humane character imo.

I have to say that my husband and I never believed any of the lies that came out of his ex-wife’s mouth, and I am so happy that he is finally safe and recovering from her abuse. I always loved Johnny as an actor, but now I learned to love him as a beautiful human being. No one is perfect, but he carries his ups and downs with a humbleness that is admirable. It's funny how he said he didn't want to be the product, but then he did become the product, again. His roles in the Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Harry Potter franchise. Those were products and he was defined by them. If he wasn't the product, why would being cancelled be such a big deal? He could have walked away and not cared. He could have just disappeared. He got sucked in and started caring about what he was doing, and when he lost those roles on those major movies, it really hurt.

I have to chime in with same. I really didn't watch his movies. Watching him on the stand, telling the truth, no matter how painful and horrible it was, and seeing different videos where he goes to hospitals dressed as Captain Jack, and hearing how other actors talked positively about him, I fell in love. Johnny is unlike most actors. He's humble, a bit shy, dislikes the word celebrity, has a heart of gold. And would NEVER hurt a woman!!

I met him in '83 in a small club in LA. He was playing in his band, the Kids. My (now ex) was also a guitar player and during the band breaks he sat with us. We were in the process of moving to LA and we talked about so many things we had in common. He mentioned he was struggling, trying to get more work. My husband gave him some advice, Stay in LA, there's more opportunity here. He was as kind and soft-spoken then as he is now.

In the event I win the lottery, I imagine myself not being terribly different, and it doesn't bother me when I buy a ticket and don't win because I don't NEED that money like some people think they do to be complete somehow. Thanks, Johnny. I've never told anyone this before, but you and I have had similar struggles from early life to adulthood. You managed to pull through it and persevere, I on the other hand have fallen in my latter years never even getting a chance to have a life until I was 30. I'm now 60, about 12 years ago I built a Log Cabin in the woods where I'm totally isolated away from civilization if you can call it that. It's just me and my dog Sal. I've lost everything too many times down to the clothes on my back and resorted to isolation to avoid the users and abusers and hopefully pass away in peace. I don't have much time left. I'm 60. I was 6'-1" in my prime and 200 lbs strong as an ox until major back surgery took an inch of my height. In the last year, I went from 190 lbs to 134 lbs. I simply can't afford to eat and am not allowed to have a firearm to hunt in Canada due to political insanity. You have brought real entertainment into my life. We're both guitar players and creative to the core, with a deep insightful inherent knowledge of human behaviour. I can read people like a restaurant menu which has been a learned skill over many years but it was always there since childhood I believe some foster as a means of survival... You are one of the few actors I admire, there are likely three, perhaps 4 others through all the years movies and entertainment have been distributed. Too much has changed in that industry and very little for the good of the people. God Bless You, Johnny Depp, keep it together but not to tightly wrapped.

I believed for several years that I was nothing, a loser. My first husband would beat me daily and say i was ugly, if it wasn't for him I would be a bag lady. I never thought I was worthy of existing , a mere 18 years young at the time. I was ready to leave my husband by 2001 because I completed my apprenticeship in pipefitting to help me become self sufficient and makie equal to my husband. I stopped loving him years ago but I guess you can say I had stopped loving myself before we ever met. I was ripe for picking when we met when I was 14. I remarried to the most wonderful man, never had I ever been treated so kindly love and respect. My first adult relationship. We did so much together even worked together in the pipefitting trade. I loved my honeybear and we had so much fun. He passed away from cancer 7 months ago, I truly miss him but thankful for the time we spent together.

I hear you, like you my first marriage was just after my 17th birthday, by the time I was 23 I was half the person I use to be, I was given the chance to get away and start my life all over again, i retrained into a new career and while on a training course I met my 2nd husband who to this day treats me as a Lady, we have been together since we both turned 24, We are now 59, he turned my life around and let me know I was worthy of the air I breath everyday, if not for him I would not be here today because I was ready to end everything.

It's the Jack Sparrow going to visit sick children or taking the time to sign autographs after a long day or the many stories we have heard through the years with his random acts of kindness. @@shirleyn546 oh he is an amazing actor as well. I just haven’t seen many of his movies. So when the trial started I barely knew anything about what was going on. But then watching it and seeing how he handled himself and how AH handled herself, I myself being a survivor of DV and SA, I was team Johnny.

42 years. My son has never met his father or brothers. his brother Dani full time military in the IDF no wife, no children, during a time of high alert in Israel, there is no way he would have been released from duty but the IDF did it. They made my son feel great, feel important, feel like he was home. WOW!

Totally agree with you he's inspiring, humble, optimistic, caring & broken 💔 I think the fact he's got creative outlets helps him tremendously. Music is proven to be extremely beneficial & he sings & plays guitar!! I think painting is similar in health benefits. Thankfully he is more than just an actor. I'm on my honeymoon, but my husband has to work 16 hours a day with no day off. I was hoping to find something here to be able to laugh and just ignore the hardship. I am glad I came to see this video, because it has made me feel that this sad feeling has to happen. It is meaningful. Things will get better for my husband and me once we get his visa. In the meantime, I want my husband to know I am very proud of him and that he is so good to me that I our marriage has been an achievement that I never imagined could be as it is and I thank him for helping me believe in our marriage as an ongoing miracle.

After watching this, I have officially declared JD my "hero". I have never had a mentor or a "hero" in my life, and I am 55 years old. I was not a "fan" of JD before this VA trial. While watching that trial, I became a fan. But after seeing this, I can now say I do, in fact, have a hero. 💞💞💞 "To have to suffer the ignorance of someone lying to you for some type of gain ..." " .. and no one should accept anything but the truth."

What an incredibly honest heart that he has revealed. He is a down to earth, take me as I am, never trying to be someone fake. He is one of those rare finds who bares his soul to be honest, which ends up leaving himself open to the wolves. He has a heart for people, for children, for those in pain, sick, and suffering. A good lesson learned is...all people are damaged in some way (usually by others), follow your dreams, be yourself not someone else's product, enjoy what you do, be happy with yourself and make other's happy too!

Wow. Mine and Johnnys upbringing is pretty much the same. I also never had a stable home and my mother had to constantly move so at a certain point I just shut down and never tried making any new friends because I knew I was just gonna have to move again. Only difference is I never got to play my guitar that I got when I was 10. My mother had to sell it for a moving trip. I was so sad that I gave up on trying to play. I’m 30 now and just bought my telecaster. I love this guitar so much and I will master it!

He's very genuine, I can see him and its hard to see people, of who they truly really are. I truly love this man. Its hard to find another person like you. We're so much alike in so many ways. There's a soul mate out there for everyone, that's if they want to find that soul mate or not. I'm going to say it and Frankly I don't care who sees this. The first time I seen him I fell in love. And that's when we were kids. I'm 53 years old and my feelings have never changed for him. ❤❤❤❤

The other attractive thing about Johnny Depp is that he does feel real, genuine and down to earth. And like you're going to get a really different take on things and it will be in a really kind sort of way. That given a choice, he always chooses the light. And that is a very nice to be around.
