I’m glad you tried it, I have the whole line of products, you may want to try the shine oil and the pre scalp oil. They also have a heat protective serum that comes in a glass jar that I like to use before the air dry cream, kinda works as a leave in too, especially if you’re gonna blow dry. I like that they don’t use plastic containers, but stay with glass and metal, better for the environment.

Such pretty results! This has been my favorite curl cream for a few months! Try it with the Cake Curl Whip Mousse - I find that combo gives great definition but my hair stays super soft.

Jonathan Van Ness is a genius! I love this curl cream and I also love both the volume and moisture shampoos and conditioners! The deep conditioning mask is also incredible!

I have the opposite of her hair. Mine is very fine, low density and wavy/curly. This product also works amazing on my hair and i love it.

If you are sleeping on this stuff. Then stop. About to throw everything out of my cabinet away. This is amazing. Gives more hold than expected and my hair is so soft. Used the serum underneath it too. Ag recoil was so gross in my hair. I had to return it. This stuff was beautiful. ❤

I tried the JVN with the Kristin Ess Salt air dry mousse. With my 2B hair, the result was perfect, soft, beachy waves.

JVN made their hair brand to be inclusive of all hair types from straight to coily. They themselves have curly hair. I have a few products but found their cream and other leave in to give me severe flash drying. I would start on soaking wet, dripping hair and put this cream in, immediately after it feels like im atyling damp hair. This video is giving me the motivation to try it out again

@@janowens4406 I have used the JVN serum which also gave me severe flash drying as well as a leave in and oil. The flash drying thankfully isn't super frizzy, just dries my hair alarmingly quickly

Perfect for wavy through curly hair. I've used all products for over a month...Hair has no frizz and retains curls for at least 3-4 days!!!

Recently I’ve been wondering if I had wavy hair. Since I was a kid my hair used to be pin-straight, but once I hit puberty, I noticed my hair has gotten frizzier even tho I have been treating it the same as I had for years. I was so disappointed in this cream, after reading the reviews I was so excited to try it. It did nothing for me, I had no hold even after brush styling. It made my hair very dry and gave me knots, I even used it with different gels and mousses. I’m glad it worked for you though!

I see they have a travel size version for $10. I might have to try that. Your hair looked amazing, and I love using curl creams (which this kind of is) as one-and-done stylers. I wonder what your hair would look like if you had protected it overnight?

As a dude it is kinda hard to find gender neutral products that work and don’t make the curl look to overly defined and “girly..” Thank u sm for this product recommendation

I have chemical sensitivities and since perfumes are added I’ll have to pass. It can be very frustrating finding good products that work and are fragrance free. I bought and tried the Jessicurl line and it doesn’t work very well for my hair. It looks good at first but my hair falls almost flat by the end of the day.

❤️ I believe it has some, as I noticed “hydrolized jojoba esters” on the Ingredients list which I understand is a protein.. but other than that I didn’t see other signs of it

It depends what you’re going for 😊 if you want lighter hold and just moisture and a little bit of protein, I really like the briogeo but if you want more hold and smoother defined curls without using more than one styler I think the JVN is great!

I just started using JVN curl cream & am amazed by how much hold & soft waves I get w/ this product ~ it’s my new favorite product. I tend to use a little curl cream & always use gel, however now w/ JVN- it’s not necessary ~ 🫶🏻💗🫶🏻
