If You're Not In The Obit, Eat Breakfast premieres Monday June 5 at 8PM on HBO.

I respect people from pretty much every generation, but the generation on show here - I don't think they can ever be matched. They are talented, funny, modest, natural, warm and sharp. I love that this video, and the film itself, exists.

If your getting 'up there', it may be time to take a wiser look at old age. This doc shows us many viewpoints and perspectives on getting older. I was personally amazed, at how much of a connection I have with these venerable, active, happy to be 'up there' folks Always look up ;)

@@johnmoreno7664: We do as the Hebrews do/did in the Bible, i.e., feed the animals, weed the garden, bale the hay and work up an appetite. Then breakfast around nine AM. My aunt did it that way and grandmother did it that way - they lived to be 99 and 103, respectively.

Good point! Unfortunately, most of their female peers in comedy have already passed away: Lucille Ball, Mary Tyler Moore, Rose Marie, Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, Totie Fields. They'd better hurry to put one together while Carol Burnett is still alive and kicking. (I included Totie as a rare woman stand up of that generation, even tho she died young, in 1978. Look her up.)
