Welcome to my KZfaq channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.

I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!

=======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Ive been watching your videos for over a year now, and I want to say thank you. You documenting all of the things you do really helped me get in the direction I should have gone a long time ago. Been on Fin for just over a month now, so im hopeful. I’ll be 20 soon so im glad i got on it now, ever since I started taking it I’ve worried less about my hair. I was hesitant to start fin because of tresless. It seems like the majority of people online are the minorities of the people who experience side effects in the studies.

Took it for 10 days. Experienced low libido, erectile dysfunction and a rash under both of my arms. Immediately stopped taking it and i've recovered from all of the side effects (took about 10 days to fully recover). And it was not in my head, i went into the whole thing with a very positive outlook. Going to wait for my hair to fall out to a point where it's reasonable to get a hair transplant or just accept it and shave my head. Currently experiencing sides like lower libido and groin pain on finasteride. Been told to take natural test boosters like tongkat ali to make up for sides. But if we're inhibiting dht which is a by product of testosterone and then simultaenously raising our test levels to make up for the resulting lack of sex drive, wouldn't we just be creating more dht to be dealt with? Aka would there even be a point to taking finasteride?

Did you have parallel studies of these compared to dutasteride on another video?
@BlahBlahPoop617
@BlahBlahPoop617 4 жыл бұрын
Good video. These are some really good long term studies that are well done. Also people have to keep in mind that the 5-7% number of people who experienced side effects is less because when you compare it to placebo in the 5 year and other studies, the net amount was like 1% or less and the gross amount was like 2-3%. So likely it’s the same thing here. So the real number of that 5-7% is probably closer to 2-3%. Notice that in the 10 year study, the sexual side effects were mainly seen in the older men. Well, sexual health issues are seen in older men of the population who don’t use Finasteride too, so even in this study they can’t distinguish the cause and effect of the sexual side effects in these older Finasteride users. In other words, was it due to the drug, or because they, like a portion of the older population who doesn’t use the drug, will at some point have sexual health issues due because it is an age related health issue.

Replicel stocks are at 20 cents each and if they are the only ones with the patent then maybe their stocks will skyrocket.. I'm thinking in buying some.. Anyway even if this machine works (I don't really know what it does) don't you still have to take finisteride as well?

So I thought what if another country clones hair follicles for U.S. patients and then send them to hair transplant doctors clinics in the United States so the cloning doesn’t take place in the U.S. so the FDA doesn’t have a say in this, right? and by the time it reaches the the doctors office it’s a hair transplant. Would that work?

Thanks for making this video, could you please also make a video talk about the side effects of finasteride on fertility? I've been read some articles related to this and pretty sure finasteride would decrease the quality of sperm, I'm wondering if this process is irreversible or not. If someone has been taking it for a couple of years, and he decided to stop it and having a baby, could finasteride leave him any problem?

I have decided to finally give it a try. I am soon to be 40 and did not do it for so long due to fear of sexual dysfunction in my 20s when I started as I wanted to "be all there" in my youth. Now, I am more comfortable in giving it a try. I do remember however a doctor back then prescribed to me Proscar to take after he said, "Break the dosage pill into 3 pieces so as not to take a full does." did the for a few months and it had no side effects on me. Back then you needed to go to the doc to get more subscriptions so I never followed through. Though my crown is gone and my temples have gone along a bit, I have good coverage and slow hairloss (To be honest, minoxidel more than likely destroyed my crown and that was the only place I used it a lot when I first panicked and went all out, and the little I used on my temples also did damage.) either way, Since I can fix my crown with a transplant, I will give the pill a try. But from my study, it is better to take it 3 times a week in order to get into it slowly so as not to shock my system in case there may be some effects.

I figure if it's taken this long to wear the follicles down, they can't be that sensitive to DHT. I was hesitant about finasteride for a long time. I followed the natural route for about a year and to no avail. So i decided to go ahead and start fin. I'm starting my third month and i have no side effects. And i actually feel like i am doing something to attack the root cause of the hair loss other than just hoping for the best with natural remedies. I'm happy so far. Hopefully i can get great results in the coming months. I only have vertex thinning so not bald yet.

@@hamadalali452 so I'm on my 7th month now. I have definitely seen improvement and i haven't been thinning anywhere else. So it definitely is worth it for keeping your hair and possibly having a future transplant if needed. I haven't had any side effects from it either although some people do have side effects. But the short answer is, yes it is definitely worth it. Atleast try it for a year. Goodluck man.

JJ Du Toit Thanks man I really appreciate it, I just have a quick question did the thinning hair get thicker? and did you see any regrowth in other part of scalp for example hairline or crown? and thankyou again i hope everything goes well with you🙏
@jjdutoit5890
@jjdutoit5890 4 жыл бұрын
@@hamadalali452 alot of my thinning hairs have gotten alot thicker. I have a lot of velus hairs growing in on my crown and hairline. Seeing as my hairloss is mainly on my crown. In that regard finasteride works the best if you aren't bald but rather thinning it also works better for crown growth. So if the hair folicle is still alive. It can grow in thicker. All the best man. I hope you can save your hair.
