My friend found one on her car, it turned out it was her parents tracking her.

One time, I had a debate (...Or, argument, if you ask them...) with a Gay Feminist Liberal Communist Muslim with an Open Borders Policy, who was surprisingly white. So, it was about Liberal Ideology, and I crushed his opinions with facts and statistics. Well, a year later, after my graduation (He was a Junior when we argued, me a senior) I went into my old High School to say "Hi" to a few of my favorite teachers. When I was done, I exited the building and saw (99% sure) the same Gay Feminist Liberal Communist Muslim with an Open Borders Policy leaning under the rear bumper of my car. As I got close enough for him to hear me, he stood up, didn't look back (probably to conceal his identity) and walked away. So, I got to my car, looked on the Underside, and just as I had expected, I found an I.E.D. under the Fuel Tank. It consisted (Very Un-Cleverly) of a giant Rat Trap, with a small metal wire holding a small metal screw in the center of the Hammer. It was set, and so I grabbed it carefully before detaching it from the bottom of the fuel tank, and when I looked at it in the light, it was evident that the wood was replaced with a harder wood that was much thicker, a hole was drilled right under where the screw would have hit and there was a .45 Caliber Pistol Round in it, facing directly toward the Fuel Tank. Never saw that kid again.

Saw a smaller version of this called a "TrackR" and the first thing I thought of, being a former LEO, was, "This is a dream for Stalkers, Rapists and Home Invaders because the unit is so small you can drop it into a lady's Purse at a store then just follow the signal. These thing should be licensed and Tagged with a Digital Name

The thumb nail is a tracker police officers use it shots out of a little compartment it's so the officers dispatch and what like that can track them, they only use them for pursuits and this is the thumb nail not the first one. Always crawl under your car at Walmart to check for GPS trackers, especially if you plan to drive to another country. If you find one, immediately stick it on the first Police car you see, or better yet, stick it on a freight train headed for some other state.

If you find a tracker on your car, take the tracker to the nearest wrecking yard and affix to a vehicle scheduled for the crusher. Or just throw the tracker in a river. They will continue to signal although the range will be effected.

I hate to burst your bubble, but you walk around every day with a tracker on your person. Its called a cellular device. If someone knows the proper way to hack it, they can track every movement you make. Take a wild guess who knows this, and uses this fact every single day? If you lease your car or are renting a car and you find a gps tracker make sure you check with your dealership or rental company as many of these companies employ gps trackers to protect their property (the car) in the event it gets stolen or people stop making payments.

Um these are commonly available on Amazon and I have seen them in auto stores. The police trackers (as seen on your click bait thumbnail) are not widely used due to the cost and actually save lives by ending high speed pursuits.
