God is so good. If you feel life has been unfair to you. Sometimes you need to let go of some things such as toxic friends, negative thoughts, draining relationships and focus on Jesus

This girl and I like each other but I had to back off. She is newly saved and I don't want to distract her from the most important relationship with God. But im seeing great change in her and she seeks God. Ita just not time yet for us to get together. Trying to pray through all this

God stripped me everyone and even had me relocate to another city and state. I do believe I will be married one day but I refuse to IDOLIZE it. Right now, all I want is God. Also, I am still in process of becoming a better Danaé (improving my spiritual walk, building my credit, getting another degree, etc)

Being single is best for me because I can focus everything on Jesus Christ and my Holy Father and I believe that's what Jesus Christ wants for me .

Please pray for me, brothers and sisters, that I may find a good woman. I'm a good man. I've never had a girlfriend, and I'm practically 40. I've been rejected way too many times in the past where I'm now rejecting quality women. I'm ready to release the pain and to accept the Lord's blessing.

If I hadn't strayed when I was younger and had been closer to God like I should have been, I might have been married years ago. I asked God to guide me this time to the one he would want for me. I went through a lot of pain because I tried to make things happen myself. That always is the wrong way to go. I ask him to help me discern who is totally carnal and who really wants to be in a relationship first. I ask him for the strength to do things right this time. I'm almost 57, but I'm still young.

No. 2 is key because many times we will also look to our elders and church leaders as the final authority, instead of the Lord. For instance, if the Lord reveals something to you in the secret place - he gave this to you. So when we go to our elders or church or spiritual leaders and ask for their opinions, they can sometimes lead us astray. This is why it's important to go through a season of life where it's really just you and the Lord. This was by far the most important season of my life and the Holy Spirit truly did walk me through and teach me so many things. He also taught and showed me how WE ARE the church, a building is not. The No. 2 lesson is rarely taught, so I truly appreciate that the Holy Spirit led Mark to teach that here.

I am 45 and waiting for God to bless me in the area of marriage. It's rough at times and temptation comes but through prayer and having a honest relationship with God helps, I also ask others to pray for me as well.

I seem to keep on attracting the type of men I used to want, now I want a Godly man and I can't seem to find any. I will continue to pray we find each other because I FEEL DEEP IN MY SOUL that he's somewhere praying for a woman like me as well

I was able to attend church again amidst all that has been going on. I had this prayer on my heart for a Godly marriage. Then it was like I heard His voice in my heart “Trust me. I’ve got you.”. A few nights before that I was feeling really bad about myself. While I was going to sleep I was thinking “Why would anyone ever fall in love with me?” and “I’m too ugly to be loved.”. I asked God if that were true, and I heard Him say “No!”. It startled me a little, but I felt comforted knowing that He didn’t think I was ugly.

Been struggling with singleness lately especially during this time. Trying to refocus 😥 cause I can't live with God's presence in my life and I know His purpose for me is greater than getting married.

#4 really hit home. Fear and rejection

This afternoon when praying for marriage, got a thought, "Marriage doesn't complete or fulfill you (or make you happy or satisfied). Whether before marriage or after marriage, you're fulfilled cuz you're in Christ." And now I watch this video, confirming what the Lord had said earlier.

I have seen in life you have to go to the flow. Like you said in the beginning God runs the show in your life. It’s his will and not ours. Divine timing is always in play.

I really desire to be married to a Godly man but my emotions are all over the place and I don’t know exactly where God is leading me. Please keep me in your prayers my fellow AGW family.

I think #4 hits home for me. I’ve had so many blows in my past when it comes to men that I’ve put up a huge wall. It’s very hard for me to trust that someone won’t let me down and every time I meet someone new the fear comes back and I end up sabotaging the entire thing. Altogether, I’ve decided to put dating on hold because of this. I’m just completely focusing on God and myself.💕

I have been praying and waiting on the Lord for a long time now. Loving those in my path as Brothers in Christ and listening to the Holy Spirit through our friendship. There have been those that I thought could be the one - but knew they weren't for me and have felt an abundance of His peace in letting go of what was not from Him. I trust in His timing and won't make this an idol in my life - as I have in the past. God knows best and I trust Him. He can be trusted.

1. Give up your perception of control over your life.(God is sovereign, but He wants to teach you, not force you) 2. Give up a God-segmented life. Let the Lord have all of you. (e.g. Come to a church on a day but not actively bring God in everyday ) 3. Give up an isolated Christian life (no church) participate w church. 4. Give up fear of rejection and failure. (you cannot control everything that happens, but you can control your response) 5. Give up the lie that you need a relationship to be happy. (we ruin the relationship and miss out joy..!) only God can satisfy our deepest longings.

Amen. Another important thing for us singles to work on is being selfless. I have heard it said that you never know how selfish you are until you get married. Of course, we’ll never be perfect at this, but it’s a good thing to strive after. Great video. 😊👍🏾

Listen, I'm not "young" anymore. I'm not old either, but middle aged. NEVER been married. Never wanted to be. Until 2017. God put that desire in me and has been working on me for 20 + years. How do I as a Christian let go of my desires for a wife, especially when I have never been with a woman, or dated in my 29 years on this earth? Everyone says surrender, but that’s a lot easier said than done! That doesn’t make the sexual urges go away! This is my biggest trust issues. I feel abandoned by God in this area! As I watch family and friends around me get hitched! I need serious help before I do something stupid here!

Such a good word! Thank you! These words have guided my prayers this morning and reminded me of so many important truths about Jesus and the godly marriage I hope to be in one day. That fear of rejection and failure point is my biggest struggle, as I’m sure many can relate. I needed 1 John 4:18 this morning. God’s perfect love can be the what I cling to and can get me through anything (including rejection or failures).

Number #3 applies to me strongly. I spend every day alone with my children in prayer all day. Our Lord said.. You shouldn't be alone, join a church. I listened, next week there is a pot luck! I'm so excited and have made friends with females, I am so happy 💖 Thank you for these tips!

Mark, love this teaching. Thank you so much. I did not agree with the point about mega churches though. I believe people can “put on” their church mask no matter what type of church they go to. This is a huge issue that goes far beyond mega churches, which I think is why I had a hard time with that point. It’s not about mega churches, it’s about bringing God into every area of our lives and not compartmentalizing our lives.

1. God can send you the right man or woman with the heart not the looks! Don’t write off someone based on looks allow yourself to get to know them if it doesn’t work out after that you have a brother/sister in Christ God can use them to bless you in the future and vice versa!

Give up the idea of controlling my own life 👍🏾 2. Give up a “God-segmented” life... Interesting idea. The idea of only showing ourselves to be Christian only when going to church[seems to be happening already, is even finished] 🤔😅 3. Give up a life of Christian isolation... By going out into the world as loving members of a family in public [seems to be happening currently] 🤔😅👍🏾 4. Give up the fears of rejection & failure... A Christian can’t be afraid of rejection or failure, because we must press on in faith despite any & all rejections, and failure only occurs when having given up 🤔 [honestly I was thinking about this earlier 🤔🤯😇🙏🏾🥳], though I’m not sure where I am in this area 😪🤔 5. Give up the lie that a relationship is needed to be happy... And honestly I’m thinking I’m almost there, but I’m not sure because I could be overthinking it 🤔 and so now I need to get back in prayer 😅
