GoPro Max highlights of the IFCA Worlds 2021 at Pounda Beach. We had 10 slalom eliminations with winds between 10 and 35 knots! Used all my Neil Pryde EXOXII sails between 9 and 5.8 sqm and all 3 JP Australia boards 62, 71 and 85. Had lots of crazy crashes, especially on those highwind days.
Congratulation to the winner and teammate Enrico Marotti, Croatia! Absolutely deserved it!
Finished 18th overall wich is ok for me. Speed was superfast but fitnesslevel was near 0 :) Great to see lots of young guys pushing!

Awesome! This is slalom 💪 I love that there is no music, only original sound of water on board and sailors yelling 😁 And thank you for leaving the catapults in. Really interesting to try and see what caused them. Also amazing how you can capture all the interesting situations around you with the 360 cam!

Geiler Speed, geile Location, spektakuläre Bilder ! Es gibt glaube ich auch keinen, der seine fails und crashes so feiert wie Du. Klasse , macht immer wieder Spaß zuzuschauen.

Sehr, sehr geile 360-Grad-Action! Speziell der Fight mit dem CRO-Surfer ab ca. 8:00 Minuten ist echt tough. Eine Gewissheit ziehe ich aus diesem Clip: Meine nächste Anschaffung ist definitiv die GoPro-Max! Very impressive! Good starts, fantastic speed, scary close calls and gnarly crashes! On 6:20 wasn't your fault, the guy messed up his jibe and stopped in front of you right by the mark. Very good edit, thanks for sharing 🤙

@@fakulol0186 I'm absolutely sure. What exactly was aggressive? Andy didn't try to cut him off, the guy stopped right by the jibe mark leaving no room to avoid him

thanks a lot Den! In my opinion it was a bit too aggressive. Had a bad start in 2nd round, had to finish 4th. So you have to go for any gap! This time didn't work out :)

@@AndyLaufer I like your modesty but I watched it few times from 6:15 and your jibe was even wider than the guy in front of you and hi stopped when your were flipping your sail so you couldn't even see him properly. That crash was unavoidable. Great racing anyway and thanks for motivation!

These guys are pros... and even for them jibes remain tricky. I wonder sometimes if that's not the real reason why kite took over? I do both and unless you're in top shape all the time, kiting is so much easier. But...the trill is very different.

thanks for your feedback fabien. yes you are right, kiting is much easier and not that physical. I was kiting for 5-6 years, stopped even windsurfing for that. but when I tried the new windsurfgear in 2011 I was completely hooked into windsurfing again. Both sports are nice and beautiful. you can even do both. cheers

Versuche mal den Canvas dieses videos breiter zu machen... also 1:2,75 Verhältniss (hier ist ja nur 16:9) ... und ebenfalls mehr rectangular lines corrections zu machen... du wirst sehen... das wird der absolute Hammer dann...

Danke für den Tip. 1:2.75 muesste ich croppen, dann fehlt zu viel. rectangular... hört sich pervers an :)
