Hi! Thanks for the video! 1. How do I know if I have the v2 TX? It shows 2 options in the device drop down menu. I just oredered a week ago from your official website. 2. Also I don't have the build button at the bottom. Only flash. Confused. For now I downloaded the files from the iFlight google drive URL. 3. I live in Sweden. Do I HAVE TO select the EU domain? I set it to IST for now. I wanna be compliant with everything especially because I live close-ish to Stockholm airport.

The fan flash with the back panel only on certain version?

The fan is always installed. Flat backplate for ELRS only version, raised backplate for BASE (CC2500) and ELRS version to fit both RF units inside the radio.

Hello, im trying to bind my cammando 8 to my nazgul evoque f5 v2. Can you give me any tips on doing that. I noticed you have the same evoque as mine in the background at the begging of the video and im having trouble connecting it to the cammando 8.

DFU: Plug in USB, hold the left 5-way down (not center, down), hold the power button until the LED bar fills up. I know you posted this 2 months ago but I had to really dig to find it so hopefully this helps someone someday

Does the fan has to be active on every output power? Is it really necessary up to let's say 100mW?

It's a cooling fan, there's no downside in having cooling.

Do you wanna use it as joystick? Then just connect the USB cable and select joystick and it's supposed to work.

Hi Phill did you succeed in connecting the commando 8 to your MacBook pro? I've bought a Commando 8 but when connected no stick activity can be read by any flight simulators (e.g. velocidrone or others). Thanks.

Did you buy the CC2500 version? Then you can select the internal RF and bind your receiver.

With betafpv you have to check their videos. I'm only doing the Commando8 from iFlight

@@maniac_fpv oh, you just need to follow the same steps. You just can't use 500hz packet rate and above maybe. Betafpv receivers have a wrong XO capacitance with too much frequency deviation.

@@xingtheiflightinsider Hi XING I've followed your instructions, but in both Liftoff and Velocidrone no stick activity is detected. Do you have any advice? Thanks

@@organirama Go to controller settings and start a calibration. Also power on your radio first and THEN connect the usb cable and select controller mode on the commando 8 when you are in game main menu. If the system detects the controller, Liftoff will notify you in top right corner. Then go ahead and start the calibration process and after load up a map. Should be working. I sometimes have to repeat the calibration process when I boot up the game. Most of the time it works fine.

@@xingtheiflightinsider got a reply from them that first batch was still not shipped and batch 2 is in 2-3 weeks. However, I got a message saying my order was sent today so at least one batch got sent today

The ELRS module always acts as external module because the CC2500 multi protocol is the internal. There's only 2 options in the software

My comando 8 isn’t powering in or holding a charge I’ve had it plugged in for more than an hour and only the first led flashes once I unplug it it fades away and doesn’t turn on

roll and pitch do not work i can see it in calibration or in flight simulator but not in betaflight and not on the transmiter screen when moving the stick

Then your Betaflight is not setup correct. Check ports and receiver protocol
