Here's your look at the action-packed trailer for Wizard of Legend 2, an upcoming rogue-lite sequel from developers Dead Mage. Face perilous magical trials in Wizard of Legend 2, which features up to 4-player co-op and vibrant new 3D visuals. the pixel art was one of my favourite aspects of the game, but the idea of a story mode gets me hyped, sounds like something like magicka but faster paced.

Why does the combat look sluggish 😢 that was my main problem with the first game . Love the game but man combat felt so delayed and laggy

@@maltsutty It was less sluggy on PC, and there were a few settings that made it perfect. There were also some spells that were quicker and some that were actually sluggish by design.

Hopefully they've added more spells and more elements. Don't think many people will want the first game but in 3d.

adding online 4 player online co-op is enough to justify it in my eyes. Also hope they fix the level design and just make it more linear, It got old fast to find the shop, exit and such.

@@grinder246 While ROR2 technically had all the same mechanics of ROR1, it wasn't simply "same game but 3D". ROR1 was a 2D *side scroller*, whereas ROR2 was a 3D *third person shooter*. The way that you actually play felt very different from the first game. With Wizard of Legend 2, you still play the game the same way. Top down, but now instead of 2D pixel art it's 3D models. Also, "loathed" means the opposite of what you think it means

Will miss the animation of the first game, but this is extremely exciting. 4-player co-op will be awesome. WoL is fantastic

It definitely doesn't have the charm of the previous game. This new game's visuals seems so generic and bland. Looks like every other D-list 3D game on steam.

The fact that devs think they need to do this 'graphical update' thing time and time again while possibly damaging the integrity of the game is somewhat baffling. The original games art style was timeless and perfect. Give me more of that!! But hey, I'll give it a shot

Really hoping they still keep the fast-paced style of the first game. Some of the moves seemed a little slow, and the dash as well, but that may just be a hazy memory of the first game.

Super excited for the team to get to make a sequel. From the gameplay shown, though, the animation at least don’t feel as snappy or as impactful as the first one (watch the first five seconds of gameplay from the original’s announcement trailer) but this is pre alpha, so hopefully they can make us feel as fast and powerful as they did in the first game

The art still was way better in the first one. Hopefully it has more spells and online play or this wont be worth it. If its just more spells it wont be worth it for me. Hope everyone else will enjoy it.

It looks to much like LOL and the success that game had, it had not because of its graphics but despite them. The faded out background tones of the first game worked because it allowed players to focus on the spells and the enemies. If you choose a saturated colorful background, people will have it hard to see the spells and characters.

it kinda already exists at the entrance to the final boss you can restart the run with everything you have at that moment and the bosses scale/become harder
