I went to Hialeah Park Casino with the intentions of winning the high hand which was at $1000 every 15 minutes. I was focused on the goal but a poor decision cost me HUGE. The high hand of the day just slipped through my fingers this Super Omaha Session.

Ducky, you are awesome because you notice everything. The further back into the archives you go, the more mistakes you will find. In the beginning I would take my notebook and write down all my hands on the table. This would take my eyes off the payment and occasionally I missed something because by the time I looked up, the cards were already picked up.

Wasn't it 500 you potentially missed out on? I thought you only get the full jackpot if you flop the high hand, but you hit the fourth 4 on the back end.

You are absolutely correct. I didn’t even realize that until you mentioned it. This game the high hand has to be flopped in order to win the entire jackpot, I missed out on $500. 👊😎🥃 great catch

Um the casino wouldnt hold hands for a minute or two meaning ur q 4s couldnt beat q ks there was no chance to win the bonus

That is correct but I was thinking about not playing the hand and just waiting about a minute to get in on the next high hand. I also could have delayed making my decision once I had an opportunity on the flop for a high hand as well. I even told the dealer no funny business before the hand because my mind thought about just waiting before I played another hand. That is how life works out though, next time I will just sit out especially when I have a gut feeling. 👊😎🥃

@@fastactioncasino ok you had a hunch but point is hindsight is 20/20 could have would have should have. I have a 3 card poker story I was playing and losing hundreds of hands I got up and told a friend of mine he should play the next hand in my spot blind he did. Do you know what he got? That's right the mini royal flush which paid 200-1 in California on a 25 bet. Btw the next spot was dealer. The difference? He made the bet.

It just sucks because that was the only time during the entire session I mentioned something like that and even told the dealer no funny business this hand. Everything in life is all about timing. Thanks for the great story.
