this is true to life Omaha. you're forced to call your big blind, then you flop the nuts, get it all in, he turns you dead Omaha just makes you sick

Calling with crap from the blinds is a HUGE error in PLO. You never flop a robust hand, i.e. one with many ways to win. In large pots you need a beast like top set, a nut flush draw or a combo draw. Skanky crap like flopping the nut straight on a board of Js8s7n when you have QT53 is just death if you get involved in a big pot.

i play every poker game in professional level, omaha hi-lo is the most completed poker game. the real deal. (i love stud hi-lo too tho)

Pot limit actually creates more action because you can’t just end the pot with an all in

Pot limit is harder than on limit because you are almost always forced to call since the pot limit means you’ll always get 3:1 pot odds, which means at least 25% equity, which you have with literally any 4 card hands.

You should try Maltese Cross. 6 cards then you have 2 boards crossing each other. Omaha rules ares used.

@jabba wockeez Not really that rare, if playing PLO at low stakes, with "gambly" players. Also, I am only counting the times it has happened during live games. I don't even bother keeping track of bad beats while playing online.

Thats probably because the blinds are killing them its a tournament... not 1-2 omaha imagine blinds is taking 10-20% of ur stack each time it goes around the table

Omaha rocks. Texas Holdem is for kids, it's boring, never ever anything happens even if you play it 100s of years. Plain simply disgusting.

Definitely agree with this . Once i learned Omaha i can’t stand Texas . Even 4 card gets boring sometimes, i like 5 and 6 card better

@Gerrie van Boven I know but it’s cheaper to spend like 50 bucks online once in a while than going all the way down to AC or Mohegan from Nyc. The travel expense alone is like 40 bucks with tolls and gas
