This is so true man, had to learn this the hard way and I regret it, after seeing so many of these toxic pua guys on KZfaq preaching about not giving women attention , not simping etc ... I took it too far, didn't give the woman of my dreams the attention and care she deserved, even though she was bringing alot to the table including effort and care and is one of those very conservative girls, it ended up back firing because I was trying way too hard not to be a "simp" and be " cool, aloof" , now she's gone and I regret it so bad. There's a fine balance to everything.

The biggest mistakes I've made in dating was playing hard to get / ignoring a girl that was into me for the rationale that it will make her like me more. All it did was cause me to lose them. Don't go overboard with attention, but never play hard to get either... the middle path is usually the correct one.
