Nick Jennison reviews the limited edition Epiphone 150th Anniversary Wilshire. This hard-rocking guitar was created in celebration of Epiphone's 150th anniversary. From its introduction in 1959, the Wilshire has been one of Epiphone's most successful original solid-body electric guitars. This special anniversary version features an asymmetrical-style Wilshire double-cutaway mahogany body for outstanding upper fret access, a mahogany neck with a comfortable 60s SlimTaper "D" profile, and an Indian laurel fingerboard with dot inlays.

You guessed correctly pacific blue is just a historic name epiphone used for pelham blue.Guessing the decision was for historical accuracy. Great video and great demonstration of the Wilshire and it's tonal capabilities definitely will become a desirable classic in the future.

I have the orange one with the trem. It plays like a dream - closer to one of my charvels than a Gibson/Epi. Very comfortable ride with a unique tone thanks to the Gibson mini buckers. Highly recommend!

Mine doesn't, but a good strap can counter neck dive.

A leather/suede strap that grips your shoulder prevents neck dive on guitars like SG's etc...

There are tons of great gear out there. Lack of gigs, Democratic Party induced COVID shutting down venues, has caused creative, economic, survival nightmares for any musician looking to be career professionals. Club owner costs, venue costs, greedy promoters, travel costs with Bedenomic gas prices, all add up to more difficulty in every direction. Nice guitar, hope the neck is good. So many guitars have bad necks or fret jobs, it is relieving to get one that has everything lined up. Thanks for the quality video, showing guitar players what that guitar has rather than rushing and hype not really showing the guitar. Well done.
