Hoisting and rigging operations expose workers to a number of hazards. The rigging crew and crane operator aren't the only ones that run the risk of injury when hoisting and rigging; everyone on the jobsite is at risk. This is why it’s critical to consider all factors when planning a hoisting and rigging project. This Safety Talk video discusses two common crane hazards-electrical contact with overhead powerlines, and struck-by hazards.
Watch this video and learn more about how to protect your workers and create a safer working environment.
